What's new
- An MCP server for coding agents,
emi-local mcp: analyze a board from disk, read the findings, decoupling, nets, ESD and cable results, and compare versions, against the app on your computer. For Claude Code, install theemi-analyzerplugin from theembeddedci-com/benchpod-mcpmarketplace; see "Using it from Claude Code" in the README. - Findings weigh what a net carries and what a pin is, so the critical list opens with real problems: slow lines (I2C, resets, enables, LEDs) are advisory, a long fast net is critical only where its return path is also broken, and decoupling skips sense inputs, enables and GPIOs on supply-named nets. On a 4-layer reference board the criticals went from 27 to 4.
- Length matching no longer groups mux and SPI pins as a DDR bus on boards without DRAM, and CAN, RS-485 and LIN pairs get no picosecond skew budget.
- A run the worker crashes on (a full Docker disk, for one) now ends as failed with a reason instead of staying in progress.
- All text is in American English.
This release starts the worker image ghcr.io/embeddedci-com/emi-worker:0.4.0.
