OpenWeb PBX 1.0.16 — integrated meetings and Android video
OpenWeb PBX 1.0.16 brings the recent hosted calling features into the complete Debian 13 package and pairs them with OpenWebPBX Free Phone 1.0.16.
- Meet: schedule audio/video rooms, invite guests, admit registered phones, and control admission, mute, locking and ending the meeting.
- Native Android video between colleagues, audio/video answer choices and explicit camera controls.
- Nathaniel UK default prompts, PIN-free own voicemail on 121, and the GMT+2 talking clock on 1026.
- Optional tenant Call Me Back administration/runtime; no customer incoming number is enabled automatically.
- Signed, recoverable Debian updates and meeting-aware encrypted restore, including fresh target media addresses and revoked transient meeting credentials.
- Instance administrators can require Android 1.0.16 for every directly installed phone while preserving tenant preferences for later releases. Active calls defer installation; Android may require confirmation and reopening.
Software qualification includes a full fresh install, the installed signed updater with exact recovery and reboot finalization, actual Android replacement with two-way audio, and encrypted restore onto a separate clean server. The live instance requires Android 1.0.16 once its normal core upgrade completes.
Physical cameras/handsets, restrictive networks/TURN, measured meeting capacity and Google Play approval remain open. Restarting an Android camera can briefly pause sound/picture. Windows release status is unchanged.
The Android APK/AAB and corresponding Android source are the exact files previously qualified for the separate 1.0.16 preview; the complete server is newly packaged. The signing identity is unchanged. Core source is frozen at 96ce931; Android source at 7f60b33. Build informational revisions predate the final packaging fixes; the actual packaged source/runtime inventories are verified separately.
