OpenWeb PBX 1.0.2 adds automatic queue callbacks, Hotel Services and native Windows Server installation alongside Debian 13.

Downloads

  • Windows x64 ZIP: extract it and open Start-OpenWebPBX.cmd. Choose Setup to install a new server.
  • Debian 13 amd64 archive: extract it and follow docs/installing-1.0.2.md.
  • Engine source archive: corresponding FreeSWITCH, Sofia-SIP and SpanDSP source, licenses and build recipe.
  • Verify downloads against SHA256SUMS.

Changes

  • Queue callbacks: caller request, offer after waiting, or automatic after waiting; available agent first, bounded retries, cancellation, office hours and wrap-up checks.
  • Hotel Services: room check-in/out, guest mailbox reset and new PIN, room status, Do Not Disturb, vacant-room outside-call blocking, and confirmed wake-up calls with retries.
  • C#/.NET 10 background calling service and a WinUI 3 administration manager built using Visual Studio 2026.
  • Native Windows services for IIS/PHP, PostgreSQL, FreeSWITCH and background calls; fresh Debian 13 installer.
  • Windows UUID/cache/bootstrap fixes, private upload expiry, runtime prerequisite checks, service readiness and deployment documentation.

Verification

Tested on Windows Server 2025 Standard with Desktop Experience and Debian 13 amd64. Fresh installations, administrator sign-in and internal calls with two-way audio passed. Windows installation also passed through the WinUI form over RDP. Request/offer/automatic callbacks passed on Debian; automatic callbacks and confirmed wake-up calls passed on native Windows. Parser, tenant isolation, hotel privacy, call policy, delivery concurrency and restart/expiry checks passed. The Windows build reported zero warnings/errors.

Scope and remaining work

This is an independent PBX, not complete 3CX feature parity. The PHP/Lua/FreeSWITCH application is retained alongside the new C# components. The WinUI manager is not a softphone. Replacement mobile/desktop/browser calling apps, PMS/Fidelio/call charging/minibar, messaging/CRM/AI/video features and other integrations remain outstanding. Callbacks do not preserve an exact position among live waiting callers.

Real carrier calls, broad handset/NAT/TLS interoperability, load testing, signed Windows distribution and one-click upgrades remain unverified or outstanding. Providers start disabled. Windows local setup uses a test certificate; public deployments need a trusted hostname certificate and appropriate network configuration. Existing installations must use the documented update procedure, not a fresh installer.
