Pacifico 0.2.0 consolidates the MCP API into five tools while preserving session archives and memory.

  • search_sessions: ranked, literal, and regex search.
  • read_session: digests and paginated messages.
  • get_context: repository context and activity by date.
  • get_memory: approved memory.
  • review_memory: sources, entries, and recurrence.

Ollama integration, session-start hooks, bundled skills, and MCP prompts have been removed. Upgrade cleanup preserves unrelated client settings and stored memory. Statistics and Git correlation remain available in the CLI.

This release changes MCP tool names and response schemas. Restart the MCP connection after upgrading. See the migration guide.

Install:

brew install emersoftware/tap/pacifico && pacifico install

Upgrade:

brew update
brew upgrade emersoftware/tap/pacifico
pacifico install

The macOS and Linux binaries include their runtime. SHA256SUMS contains the checksums for all four archives.
