What's new
- Packet capture on risk events – IAGuard records network traffic when it detects something suspicious, so you can review what actually happened.
- Capture viewer – browse past captures, see a summary of the data flows, expand individual packets, and open or delete captures.
- Block attacking IPs – block the IPs behind attacks and unblock them anytime, with a guarantee that no connection is ever left stuck.
- IP geolocation – look up where an IP is located right from the app.
- Better detection – new local signals: unexpected services listening, outbound connection storms, and connections to known-bad addresses (using signed reputation lists).
- System notifications (toasts) – get notified on Windows/Linux, and mute them from Settings if you prefer.
- Autostart option – start IAGuard with Windows/Linux, minimised to the tray (off by default).
- Update check – IAGuard tells you when a new version is available.
- More polish – context menu on the connections table, local timestamps, CSV export, and a wider window with live charts.
Fixed - Windows packet capture no longer fails: the app now starts with administrator privileges automatically when needed, works even on virtual machines, and produces actual capture files.
- A strange empty "0.0.0.0" file created by Windows notifications is gone.
- No more app loop on startup on Windows.
- Fewer false alarms on failed login attempts and a smoother analysis queue.
- History and chart panels no longer freeze or get stuck.
