#136 merged just as #161 made the format gate stop swallowing rustfmt failures, so main's CI now fails at the format step on two files from the sync work. Mechanical
cargo fmtonly — no behavior change. 8/8 quality gates pass.Unblocks CI for main and every open PR stacked on it (#150, #162).
