SpeakEasy 1.5.2 moves the app to its new identity, dev.emptystring.speakeasy.
Users upgrading from 1.5.1 or earlier need to install this release manually once:
- Quit SpeakEasy.
- Back up
~/Library/Application Support/SpeakEasy/. - Download SpeakEasy-1.5.2.dmg, open it, and replace SpeakEasy in Applications.
- Open SpeakEasy and approve Microphone and Accessibility access again.
- If macOS asks to access
com.speakeasy.license, enter your Mac password and choose Always Allow.
History, statistics, and recordings stay under the existing Application Support directory. Other preferences and “Open at login” may need setting again. Future stable updates can install automatically after this one-time transition.
SpeakEasy-1.5.2.zip and any .delta files are automatic-update artifacts.
