Fundraising period

• Crowdfunding page as the home page
• What should the repayments table look like during fundraising period (i.e. my projected cash flow streams)

Interim period (crowdsale complete, pending selection of funders)

• (potential) How do we show that a loan is fully funded?

Funding a loan

• What should the "fund loan" process look like?
• What warnings should we show the lender?
• How do we explain the issuing of debt token to the funder?
• How do we prevent someone from overfunding a loan?
• How do we ask potential funders to include their email address, so that we can do a video interview with them? (Ines' request)

Funding goal complete

• How should we show the details of the loan?
• What should we show? i.e. on time, in default, early settled (copy Mifos' UI)
• How should we show the debt token allocations? i.e. who owns the debt tokens
• How should we show the repayment status (i.e. which tranches are settled, etc)

Checkout Loan

Kiva uses a "checkout loan" model where you add loans to a basket, and then check all of them out at the same time. Kiva has an optional "donate" button which is a fairly sizable amount, that is used to cover operations.

Registration is only needed prior to checkout. Users submit email and password, but are allowed to donate anonymously.

From my Consensys Bootcamp group:

(TS):

1. Looks good, could use some short summary+call to action on the very top e.g. "Invest 100DAI in Ines to get 130DAI back after X months* (*best case scenario)".

2. I am risk averse, and social proof isn't very persuasive to me. Could use more facets of identity than just social media accounts vouching for other social media accounts. This leads to next point:

3. More thorough verification. Info what happens if Ines (or Nigerian prince Nguyen Omata) does not pay loan back? Statistics from the platform (having loans on blockchain has added bonus that I can verify them independently) - how often were such loans repaid?

4. Centralized lending platforms can afford to be thorough (Address, bank statement, photo of ID) I am not sure how such "verification" could work in decentralized way but if I trust the platform I could be content with ("Yep, we (the platform) confirmed his/her private documents seem legit - attested to that fact on the blockchain, but you don't get to see the documents, obviously").

Hey,
First of all:

• What's the use case, story for these screens? Without context it's difficult to understand it and give proper feedback, I'm gonna try it though 🤓

Main loan page:

• The financial goal is 60K but I feel the main thing is that Ina want to go to Cornell. Make it connected more with her profile.

• The primary CTA (lend now) comes before the details, logically tho it would look something like this: who->for what->how much->lend

• the lending amount into a select input is not the best: consider displaying predefined amounts to guide the user. You can see best practices on donation sites. The last option can be 'another amount' with a number input...but don't use dropdown.

Comments from Guerilla Testing:

1. Too much information, I'm confused by the finance terms

2. On the loan page, I want to see how much I earn from lending and by what date

3. Why is there so much details abt txns? Don't make me think

4. Too much friction for borrower to accept a loan. Should accept immediately

5. Suggested amounts need to cater to diff types of users (i.e. 7, 25, 100, 1000)

6. Tabs on mobile suck. Scrolling is cheap, enhances discoverability

"Is there a way to give a tip to the project?" <- something to think about instead of per-transaction fees
