Executive Summary

v1.3.4 is a system defaults and CI hardening release on top of 1.3.0. The net
change set lowers the minimum RAM requirement to broaden hardware compatibility,
significantly raises the default vector cache percentage to improve out-of-the-box
search performance, updates the bundled Web UI to v1.6.1, and stabilizes the
correctness benchmarking CI pipeline.

The highest-impact changes for operators are:

  • Minimum required DRAM is now 2 GB (down from 4 GB), allowing deployment on lower-spec machines
  • Default vector cache is now 50% (up from 15%), improving search performance without manual tuning
  • Web UI is now bundled at v1.6.1
  • Correctness benchmarking CI is now fully operational with the correct root device path and access controls
