Added

  • Declared Requires Plugins: woocommerce so WordPress enforces the WooCommerce dependency at activation; WP Store Locator stays optional because not every site that runs this plugin uses it
  • Deleted the plugin's settings option when the plugin is deleted, using WordPress's uninstall hook

Changed

  • Raised the minimum WordPress version to 7.0 (current WooCommerce requires WordPress 7.0); the CI matrix now tests WordPress 7.0, latest, and nightly
  • Registration dates in the users table now follow the site's language for month and day names (wp_date())
  • Unserializing the plugin coordinator now throws a LogicException instead of only logging a notice
  • WooCommerce setting descriptions now state that the category options apply to classic shop and category pages, and that the order count includes all order statuses
  • Removed the hard-coded WordPress and PHP requirement text from the settings page; WordPress enforces and displays the plugin's requirements
  • The support link on the settings page announces that it opens in a new tab to screen reader users

Fixed

  • Saving the settings page with every checkbox cleared no longer causes a fatal error
  • The users table no longer fails when WooCommerce is inactive while the order count column is enabled
  • Users with an empty registration date (0000-00-00 00:00:00) now show "Unknown" instead of a year -1 date
  • Users-table and post-type callbacks pass through unexpected values from other plugins instead of causing a fatal error
  • The settings page shows "Settings saved." once instead of twice
  • Each settings checkbox now has a single label (its title), with the description linked as an accessible description
  • Settings menu, page, section, and field titles are escaped before WordPress prints them
  • The plugin information box on the settings page stays in place instead of being moved to the top like an admin notice
  • On small screens, the settings table now stacks field titles full width as in the rest of WordPress admin

Removed

  • Removed the load_plugin_textdomain() call; WordPress loads translations from wp-content/languages/plugins automatically
  • Removed the unused OPTIMIZATIONS_ACE_MC_PLUGIN_DIR and OPTIMIZATIONS_ACE_MC_PLUGIN_URL constants and the unused Optimizations_Ace_Mc::settings() accessor

CI/CD

  • Replaced the inherited generated PHPUnit suite with integration tests for this plugin (settings save, defaults, hook registration, WooCommerce guard, date column, uninstall, markup)
  • Fixed the Plugin Check and release package steps to copy assets/ instead of nonexistent css/ and js/ directories
  • Removed the nonexistent js path from translation template generation
  • Fixed PHPMD path exclusions in CI and composer phpmd; a command-line exclude replaces the ruleset's exclude patterns
  • Tightened analyzer configuration: PHPStan level 8, default PHPMD size and complexity limits, and restored PHPMD clean-code and design rules; removed unused stubs and exclusions

Installation

  1. Download the zip file
  2. Upload to your WordPress site through the Plugins > Add New > Upload menu
  3. Activate the plugin
