Smarter, mpv-Native Fallback Engine

• Rides Out Reconnects: the player engine now owns connection recovery end-to-end; sources are no longer swapped while mpv is actively reconnecting.
• One Last-Resort Ceiling: a stalled source is abandoned only after a generous 30s — everything else waits for the engine's own verdict.

Resume Playback After Source Changes

• No More 0:00 Restarts: when a dying source forces a switch, playback continues near your exact position on the new source.
• Seamless Handoff: position is carried through the fallback path for both direct and proxied streams.

Verified-Source Memory & Smart Fallback Ordering

• Dead-Source Skipping: sources that failed this session are passed over instead of being cycled through one by one.

• Health-Verified Fast Start: replays resume immediately from the cached source after a quick liveness probe.

Pre-Flight Source Probe

• Expired URLs Caught Early: the auto-selected source is verified before playback starts, so stale signed links no longer cost a failed load.
• Automatic Promotion: if the winner is dead, the next best ranked source is promoted instantly.

Engine Cleanup

• Slimmer Torrent Stack: the embedded Go engine is fully removed; torrent streaming runs exclusively on the official Stremio server.
