v0.3.0 — Everyday Carry

Desktop-first minor release. New: persistent To-Do pane with drag prioritization beside Preview, cross-session outstanding-work reminders, ambient activity pill, update notifications, profile switching from the sidebar, richer settings with error surfacing, Gemini/OpenCode/generic-folder import sources, skills marketplace UI on the repaired hub, cron create form, and two-way visual preview editing that maps on-canvas changes to source files for the agent to lock in.

Pairs with engine v0.3.0: real skills hub, persistent todos, outstanding ledger (/outstanding), generate_document tool, preview_control agent tool.

macOS install note

The macOS build is ad-hoc signed, so Gatekeeper may block it on first open ("damaged" or "cannot verify"). After dragging Xavani.app to /Applications, run:

xattr -cr /Applications/Xavani.app

then open the app. Or use System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway.

Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) only — an Intel build is not shipped yet.
A permanently clean install path (Developer ID signing + notarization) is planned.

Xavani Desktop 0.2.0 — version-aligned with xavani-agent 0.2.0

Xavani Desktop v0.2.0 — Full parity + first-run setup + settings + voice

Shipped together with xavani-agent v0.2.0 ("The Big Bang"). The desktop app now
surfaces every capability the 0.2.0 engine ships.

Highlights

• CLI 0.2.0 parity — composer autocomplete lists all 90 engine commands (was 13).
  Session slash-commands run through the live Console; an Agent Ops view covers the rest.
• First-run setup wizard — new installs with no prior sessions get guided setup:
  provider + API key, model, toolsets, history import from Claude Code / Codex /
  Hermes / Cursor, and workspace root. Existing users never see it.
• Full Settings view — appearance/skins, model & provider, reasoning effort and
  fast mode, toolsets, MCP servers (add/remove), profiles, display zoom, updates,
  about. Whitelisted config editor only; comments in config.yaml preserved.
• Effort + Fast mode chips — topbar: provider · model · Effort · Fast on the left,
  same chip size, Preview stays right. Persists to agent.reasoning_effort and
  agent.service_tier — the same keys the CLI writes.
• Update checker — checks GitHub Releases hourly-ish (6 h interval), shows a badge,
  never auto-downloads or phones home.
• Media visual edit — click images and inline SVG in the preview dock:
  rotate / flip / grayscale / blur / brightness (canvas re-encode with .bak backup),
  SVG fill/stroke editing, changes handed to the agent as exact source instructions.
• Voice input — mic button in the composer; recording transcribed by the model
  (OpenAI gpt-4o-transcribe or Groq whisper-large-v3 from your existing keys);
  transcript lands in the input for review before sending.
• Fixes — migration import no longer crashes (MIG_LABELS NameError); global error
  surfacing via toasts.

The right-hand preview pane is now a full tabbed viewer:

• Resizable — drag the dock's left edge to any width (double-click resets, size remembered).
• Tab strip like VS Code — a ◉ Live site tab plus one tab per file the agent writes (up to 15). New tabs flash as files update.
• /flip command — instantly toggles the dock between the hosted site and the agent's open files.
• Auto-follow — while the agent codes, every write/patch/edit flips the dock to that file with line numbers so you watch changes land in real time; the moment the run finishes it snaps back to your live site automatically.

Plus everything from v0.3.0: /studio three-pane layout (explorer · editable code editor · live preview), visual edit with move/delete/recolour/animate and send-to-agent.
