Firmware r307 · Companion v0.3.5 (40) · 9 September 2026

Changes

  • Restore page navigation when a drag snaps back to the clock. Release debounce uses elapsed time, gesture duration excludes release processing, and recognized page drags no longer expire after three seconds.
  • Show the estimated print finish day and local time alongside remaining time in Companion. Estimates are shown only for connected, active prints with positive remaining time.
  • Add touch timing and estimated-finish regression tests; run touch and camera-control tests in the firmware release workflow.

Install

  • Web firmware installer: connect ScryBar over USB and install v0.9.4.
  • ScryBarCompanion-0.3.5.dmg: quit the old Companion, mount the DMG and drag the app into Applications. Supports macOS 14+, Apple Silicon and Intel.
  • The app is ad-hoc signed, not Apple-notarized. If macOS blocks first launch, use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
  • Full installation and camera instructions.
  • Public firmware is built in CI without local credentials or DOOM WAD. Manual offsets: bootloader 0x0, partitions 0x8000, boot_app0 0xe000, firmware 0x10000.

Verification

  • 26 Swift tests passed, including estimated finish and the clipboard test; both host C++ test executables passed.
  • Firmware r307 flashed and identified on the physical ScryBar; the user confirmed swiping works again.
  • Estimated finish verified in the running Companion with real printer telemetry.
  • Universal Release app and Astro production build passed; mounted DMG version 0.3.5 (40), arm64/x86_64 architectures, signature and Applications link verified.
  • GitHub firmware, Companion and Pages jobs passed. The live website reports v0.9.4; its firmware SHA-256 matches the CI artifact, and all seven release asset digests match the verified files. Checksums are supplied in SHA256SUMS.txt.
