I downloaded fre:ac through Macports, as that one can access CDs without crashing, but I am unable to actually rip the CD. My MacBook (M2) recognizes the CD drives, Music opens and fre:ac automatically enters the songs into the program and pulls up CDDB. I close Music using the top toolbar to fully exit the app, try to use any codec available, and I get the pop-up window telling me that for every song it is "unable to create output file."
I'm doing all of this on a MacBook M2 with 8GB of RAM and Sonoma 14.5.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled the MacPorts version, installed previous versions, tried the regular .dmg version, but nothing works.
