Control4 Advanced v0.1.55

Supported devices and entities

  • Lights and dimmers — power and brightness for compatible Control4 light devices.
  • Climate — Celsius thermostats with Heat, Cool, Auto, Off, target temperature, fan modes, named presets, and hold mode when available.
  • Relay switches — compatible standard, wireless, and radiant-floor relays; newly discovered relay entities are disabled by default.
  • Binary sensors — window contacts, door contacts, and motion/PIR sensors.
  • Room media players — compatible rooms with Watch or Listen sources.
  • Playback buttons — Previous, Play, Pause, Stop, and Next when available.
  • Selectors — thermostat hold mode, TIDAL account, and TIDAL playlist when available.

Media features

  • Browse and start playable Control4 Watch and Listen sources.
  • Browse and play configured TIDAL playlists and TuneIn favorites.
  • Retrieve TIDAL playlists and TuneIn favorites through the guided integration settings.
  • Display source logos, current title, artist, album, source, and artwork.
  • Resolve the actual playing Listen source behind the internal Control4 Digital Media route.
  • Hide the internal Digital Media session endpoint from playable sources and new group presets.
  • Activate older presets that contain the internal Digital Media entry by using the active Control4 session.
  • Control room power-off, volume, mute, and playback when available.
  • Join and leave native multi-room groups.

Dashboard cards

  • Control4 Media Preset — one-tap preset activation with source, leader, room count, activation status, and complete error messages.

All three cards are available in the Home Assistant visual card picker.

  • Activate group preset for automations, scripts, voice assistants, and NFC tags.
  • Guided TIDAL playlist and TuneIn favorite retrieval.
  • Integration-wide Recreate entity IDs with a preview.
