Peeza 26.10.10
Fixed
- Paired devices lists every device peeza trusts. It used to show only the devices you had compared a six-digit code with on a Wi-Fi, so a machine that had sent to your other devices said "No paired devices yet" while the nearby picker called those same devices paired. Every trusted device is listed now, by name; Forget makes the next send between the two ask for a code again.
Peeza 26.10.9
Changed
- The menu-bar menu starts with your account. Its first row opens Settings › Account, and the rest follow the native apps' order: this device, what is moving, Send, Receive, Pause all, Open peeza, Remote, Settings, updates, Quit.
- Your account picture comes from Google or GitHub when you connect with them. Without one, peeza shows your Gravatar, then your initials.

peeza for Windows 26.10.8
- The notification-area menu starts with your account. Right-click the peeza icon: your
face, address and plan sit at the top and open Settings › Account. Below
them: this device, what is moving, Send a file…, Receive…, Pause all,
Open peeza, Remote control, Settings, updates, and both Quit rows. - Your account picture comes from Google or GitHub when you connect with
them. Without one, peeza shows your Gravatar, then your initials.
peeza for Windows 26.10.7
- Security fix: completion receipts and sealed messages. Only a device
that holds a file's key can now report it delivered, and no encryption key
is ever used twice with the same nonce. - Update both ends. This version cannot exchange files with an older
peeza, and says that both sides must be up to date.
peeza for Windows 26.10.6
- When your account is let in, peeza welcomes you once. "You're in."
says what you now have, what isn't there yet, and offers Report a bug.
Close it on one device and it is gone from your others too. - A device connecting from another network asks for your approval by
email. If the browser you connected in and peeza are on different
networks, peeza waits on Check your email until you approve the link. - Signed out, peeza says what it is. Under the +: end-to-end encrypted,
straight to the other device, no account needed. The waitlist screen says
how accounts are let in, and that links, QR codes and Nearby work meanwhile. - Waiting for beta access, the button at the bottom says where you stand.
Beta access requested takes you back to the waitlist; it turns into You're
approved — connect when you are let in, and peeza remembers you stepped back. - A team file you already have starts checking the moment you press Start.
No empty download shows in between. - No firewall alert at your first transfer. On a network Windows calls
Public, sending or receiving no longer raises a Windows Security Alert. - Settings and both windows fit a small screen. At low resolutions
Settings opened wider than the screen and the small window's foot sat
under the taskbar.
peeza for Windows 26.10.5
- The relay meter counts the relay you bought. With a top-up, the meter
showed only the monthly allowance — "4.5 GB / 2.0 GB", full and red — even
though the relay went on carrying your transfers. It now shows everything you
can still spend, and its tooltip says how much of it you purchased. - The details map shows which pieces have arrived and who sent them. A
team receive fills from the front with the sender's own stream and from the
end with teammates'; once it lands, "from mini · 62%" counts real pieces
rather than estimating from speeds. - Signed out, the send buttons light up once your file is ready. Link, QR
and Nearby turn amber while peeza waits for you to pick one, and Connect
steps back to a plain button. - Ready for relay packs. Get more relay — in the relay meter, the account
menu, Settings › Account and on a transfer the relay refused — is in place;
nothing shows until packs are offered in the app.
peeza for Windows 26.10.4
- The account menu is the same on every peeza. Your picture, address, plan
and relay allowance come first, and clicking them opens your account
settings. Then Remote control, Settings and Report a bug, the version with
Check for updates beside it, and Disconnect. - Restarting for an update brings peeza back in front. After Restart in
Settings, the new version used to open behind whatever window was under it. - Ready for the Pro trial. Its messages, the Pro row in the account menu
and Get Pro are in place; nothing shows until the trial opens.
peeza for Windows 26.10.3
- "Start the free trial" is gone from the Pro window. It only appeared
once a trial had already ended, and led to a New team form that could only
be refused. See plans is now the main button, and the trial line under the
points is gone with it. - New team and My devices are Pro's, as on the Mac. Without Pro, every
New team button opens the Pro window, and My devices shows how to get Pro
instead of your other computers. The + beside Teams no longer appears when
you already own as many teams as your plan allows. - Without Pro, your other devices stay out of reach everywhere. Search no
longer shows a device or its transfers.
peeza for Windows 26.10.2
- A file that is already on this computer shows a full piece map. When a
team file is already in your Downloads, while peeza checks that copy, and
after the check finds it matches, the details pane fills every square and
says "already on this device". Before, it showed an empty map, "0 B so
far", beside "Already here".
