Release list
v0.1.0 — First Release
VibeNet v0.1.0
CPU Bitcoin solo miner. Stratum v1. Auto-pairs to your active dev session.
Install
Download the binary for your platform, verify the SHA-256, and run:
./vibenet --wallet bc1q...your-btc-address
That's it. No signup, no config, no custody. The Stratum username sent to solo.ckpool.org is <wallet>.<worker>; any coinbase payout goes directly to your wallet.
Flags
--wallet <BTC_ADDRESS>(required) — payout destination--worker <name>(defaultrig-01)--threads <N>(default: all CPU cores)--pool <host:port>(defaultsolo.ckpool.org:3333)--mode {auto, always, off}(defaultauto) — auto pairs with running dev tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, VS Code, JetBrains, Aider); always runs continuously; off connects but does not hash--intensity {low, medium, high}(defaultlow) — process priority class. Low = Windows IDLE / Unix nice 19; PC stays responsive even at full thread count.
Verified
End-to-end against solo.ckpool.org: Stratum subscribe + authorise + notify + share submission all work. Two-thread CPU sustains ~3.3 MH/s on this development box. Auto-pair detects Cursor/Claude/VSCode automatically.
Economics
Network is ~700 EH/s; one CPU is ~10⁻¹⁴ of global hash. Expected solo block on one CPU exceeds the age of the universe. VibeNet is not income-generating software. If your share hits, the full block reward (3.125 BTC) pays directly to your wallet via ckpool's solo service. Asymmetric long-shot lottery, not a yield product.
