Summary

Dual-mode InstaSplatter: Standard (commercial-safe) and Experimental (NC research after license ack).

Standard Mode

  • VGGT-Commercial primary camera poses with COLMAP BA/fallback
  • RoMa v2 densify (Lichtfeld-style recipe, MIT — not GPL plugin code) composed with DAV2 + COLMAP MVS + sparse
  • Fixer polish when installed; High floors when neural stack present

Experimental Mode

  • TitleBar toggle + first-enable NC modal + persistent banner with solver chips
  • Pose chain: Ω → MASt3R → DUSt3R → VGGT-C → COLMAP
  • Merge-all densifiers; Difix then Fixer; Max-tier floors + gsplat Max strategies

Installer

Base NSIS stays lean (COLMAP + Brush). Sidecars under %LOCALAPPDATA%/InstaSplatter/engines/sidecars/ — see tools/sidecars/.
