intake-v0.10.0 — GUI folder browser for species directory

Choose a tag to compare

@ericgitonga ericgitonga released this 16 Sep 12:26
b7a06c1

Add-cards' "Species directory" field now has a "Browse…" button that opens the OS's native
folder picker (tkinter.filedialog), rooted at Dudus/, instead of requiring the path to be typed.
Guarded behind TKINTER_AVAILABLE so it degrades gracefully in headless/CI environments — the
button just doesn't render there.

Confirmed working in real use.

Closes #95

v0.15.4

Choose a tag to compare

@ericgitonga ericgitonga released this 13 Sep 15:55
1bdb34a

Changed

  • Simplified the breadcrumb bar to match eric-gitonga-links' navbar unification (#40 there):
    dropped the arrow and the middle DUDUS segment, leaving a minimal two-element bar —
    ERIC GITONGA (left, links home) and LEARNING (right, plain text) (closes #121).

v0.15.3

Choose a tag to compare

@ericgitonga ericgitonga released this 11 Sep 09:12
6574ae1

What's Changed

Changed

  • The persistent breadcrumb bar is now sticky (stays pinned to the top on scroll), matching
    eric-gitonga-links and dudu-merchandise (closes #119).

Full Changelog: v0.15.2...v0.15.3

v0.15.2

Choose a tag to compare

@ericgitonga ericgitonga released this 11 Sep 07:48
5128c7a

What's Changed

Changed

  • Added LEARNING as the terminal breadcrumb segment (← ERIC GITONGA / DUDUS / LEARNING),
    matching dudu-merchandise's three-segment pattern (.../SHOP) — describes this app's role in
    the Dudus ecosystem as the informational/ID companion (closes #117).

Full Changelog: v0.15.1...v0.15.2

v0.15.1

Choose a tag to compare

@ericgitonga ericgitonga released this 11 Sep 07:25
b1572bc

What's Changed

Changed

  • The breadcrumb's DUDUS segment now links to ericgitonga.com/dudus (the real Dudus ecosystem
    landing page) instead of being plain non-interactive text — a visitor can now get back to the
    ecosystem's home, not just all the way to the site root (closes #115).

Full Changelog: v0.15.0...v0.15.1

v0.15.0

Choose a tag to compare

@ericgitonga ericgitonga released this 10 Sep 20:50
1699bdb

What's Changed

Changed

  • Standardized the persistent "back to ericgitonga.com" bar to match the rest of the family:
    IBM Plex Mono, top-left, ← ERIC GITONGA / DUDUS — was a full-width centered bar in a
    different font/weight (closes #112).

Added

  • A "Shop" link on the home page pointing to shop.dudus.ericgitonga.com (dudu-merchandise) —
    Dudus is meant to be the ecosystem's home page, linking out to its own sub-parts (the
    informational app itself, and the shop), which this app had no link to before.

v0.14.0

Choose a tag to compare

@ericgitonga ericgitonga released this 10 Sep 19:17

What's Changed

Added

  • A persistent "← ericgitonga.com" link at the top of every page (layout.tsx), since this app
    now lives at dudus.ericgitonga.com nested under the ericgitonga.com hub but previously had
    no way back to it (closes #110).

v0.13.0

@ericgitonga ericgitonga released this 10 Sep 16:10

What's Changed

Changed

  • Applied the shared ericgitonga.com brand kit — warm paper-cream ground (#f3efe3), dark ink
    (#241f16), verdigris accent (#3f6b53), and the Newsreader/Archivo Narrow/IBM Plex Mono
    type trio — replacing the raw Next.js/Tailwind scaffold defaults (#ffffff ground, Geist
    fonts) the app had shipped with since its creation. Matches eric-gitonga-links and
    dudu-merchandise (PR #109), the other two sites adopting the same family visual identity.
    New Tailwind v4 @theme tokens (bg-background/bg-card, text-foreground/text-muted,
    text-accent/border-accent-dim, border-line) replace every hardcoded zinc/white/
    black Tailwind utility across the app's dozen .tsx files; page titles and card titles use
    the italic serif, numeric/taxonomic metadata (result counts, family/order lines) use the mono
    face. Also replaces the favicon set (favicon.ico, icon1.png/icon2.png, apple-icon.png)
    with the shared brand-kit icons via the App Router's icon file convention. Visual-identity
    reskin only — no layout, structure, or behaviour changes. (closes #100)
