The flip the provenance work (#26) gated on. A 2×2 eval A/B (lane off/on × β 0.3/0.5, the three vibe benchmark seeds, warm local corpus) measured the decision: at the production β=0.3 the lane cleanly improves descriptive vibes — the M83 seed gains three on-vibe tracks including a new #1 (Red Eyes — The War on Drugs), each carrying the batch's highest vibe-cosines — with zero hub-track leakage, while β=0.5 reproduces the documented corpus-hub failure (First Day Of School — David Benoit leaks into the top-10), so β stays 0.3 and stronger steering is deferred on hub mitigation. HNSW_LANE_ENABLED now defaults true (env still overrides; no-vibe requests are structurally untouched), and the two vibe showcase seeds are re-exported with the lane on — the new "global vibe match" chips render live, and the hnsw rationales were validated against the real explainer (vibe-retrieval framing, no fabricated cultural links). HUMBLE.'s extreme steer stays at zero in every arm — the known Phase-1 restraint, not a regression. 296 offline tests green; web build green.
