• Your own case: the CUSTOM card under the case skins in 05 STYLE. Pick a base colour and an accent from matte plastics and a pattern (stripes, blocks or an edge band), then MAKE THIS CASE (#9).
• Your own colour scheme: the CUSTOM card under the colour schemes. Pick the page, text and accent colour for light and for dark; every other colour follows, and the editor warns when text gets hard to read (#21).
• Wallpaper: 05 STYLE › DISPLAY › WALLPAPER. A picture of your own behind the views you pick (Archive, Playlists, Lyrics, Signal), shown clear, frosted or as a halftone dot screen, under a light, medium or strong veil so the text stays readable.
• BLACKOUT, a black case: black anodised aluminium, black-on-black etching, topographic lines on the spine and one white light (#22).
• Two colour schemes: LIVEWIRE (lime signal and steel cyan) and MATCHA (creamy white and matcha green).

• 壁纸：05 外观 › 显示 › 壁纸。用你自己的图片作为所选视图（档案、播放列表、歌词、信号）的背景，可选清晰、磨砂或半调网点效果，并以低、中、高三档遮罩保证文字清晰。
• **BLACKOUT 黑色外壳：**黑色阳极氧化铝、黑色蚀刻，侧脊上有等高线纹样，一盏白色指示灯（#22）。
• 两套新配色：LIVEWIRE（荧光黄绿与钢青）与 MATCHA（奶油白与抹茶绿）。

• Open containing folder: F opens the playing track's folder with the file selected (so does clicking FILE on the signal profile card). In the Archive, F or right-click › Open containing folder opens the selected album's.
• Drag along the album index under the shelf: each album is named as you pass it, and releasing selects it. Hovering the index names the album too (#8).

Changed

• Clicks land on the case you aim at. The case under the mouse is outlined, and the whole case counts (its face and top edge) where it stands, so the lift under the mouse no longer moves the target (#7).
• Shelf arrows follow the screen: ← goes to the next shelf, which stands behind on the left, and → back to the one in front. The arrows by the shelf name match (#16).
• The update check also runs while foobar2000 stays open, so the UPDATE chip appears without a restart (#14).
• The intro film says CLICK TO SKIP; MENU › Audio Archive › Intro film at start turns it off (#13).
• RANDOM PICK stays smooth: the album panel waits until the pick lands.

Fixed

• Lyrics: a line too long for the column wraps instead of ending in … (the current line onto up to three lines). Lyrics no longer run into the LYRICS MONITOR header (#15).

• **打开所在文件夹：**按 F 打开正在播放曲目所在的文件夹并选中该文件（点击信号资料卡片上的 文件 也可以）。在档案中，按 F 或右键 › 打开所在文件夹 打开选中专辑的文件夹。
• **在专辑索引上拖动：**在货架下方的专辑索引上按住拖动，实时显示经过的专辑名，松开即选中；鼠标悬停在索引上也会显示专辑名（#8）。

改进

• **点哪个就是哪个：**鼠标下的外壳会显示描边；整个外壳（正面与顶边）都可点击，并按其原位判定，悬停引起的抬升不再让目标移动（#7）。
• 货架箭头与画面一致：← 切换到下一个货架（位于后方左侧），→ 回到前一个；货架名两侧的箭头同样对应（#16）。
• foobar2000 一直开着时也会检查更新，无需重启即可看到 更新 标签（#14）。
• 开场动画显示 点击跳过；可在 菜单 › Audio Archive › 启动时播放开场动画 中关闭（#13）。
• 随机抽取更流畅：右侧专辑信息在抽取落定后才更新。

• HEARTH, a warm colour scheme of walnut and candlelight, in light and dark (#6). It is made for REAL STYLE and fits any floor. With REAL STYLE chosen, the 05 STYLE view offers it next to the floor.
• Ultrawide screens: when the Archive is more than twice as wide as it is tall, more shelves stand side by side to fill it (up to 24), each case at its usual size. Thanks to @Xuduxiu (#2)!

Changed

• PLAY ALBUM in the Archive shows its key, SPACE: it plays the selected album, or pauses it while it plays (#4).
• The titles on the cases' top edges and the floors' shadows cost less to draw, so a screen full of shelves stays smooth.

Fixed

• Playlists (ALBUM layout): clicking NO. puts a sorted playlist back in album order (disc and track). Until now, after sorting by title there was no way back (#5).

改进

• 档案中的 播放专辑 按钮标出了快捷键 空格：播放选中的专辑，正在播放时暂停（#4）。
• 外壳顶边标题与地面阴影的绘制开销更小，满屏货架时依然流畅。

修复

New

• A floor under the Archive. FLOOR at the top of the 05 STYLE view (or MENU › Audio Archive › Archive floor):
  • LAB DECK stands the shelves on a rendered lab deck, with their shadows on it, in light and dark.
  • PLAIN keeps the page colour, as before.
• REAL STYLE: the whole Archive as one rendered scene. Frosted cases stand in their rails on a walnut desk in warm light, each case shaded by its neighbours. It always uses the FROST case.
• RANDOM PICK (top left of the Archive, or R): the selection runs through the shelves and slows down on a random album. The case is lifted out and the album plays. In the cover grid, the album is selected and plays.
• Titles on the cases' top edges. Each case carries its title on a strip along its top edge, so a shelf can be read from above like records in a crate. Right-click the Archive to turn it off.

RANDOM PICK and the top-edge titles were suggested in #1. Thank you!

Changed

• The case skins are lit from the right. The cases' tops and spine sides catch the light and the gaps between them are no longer in shade, so every case stands out and the covers behind the front one stay visible.

Fixed

• The intro film plays every time foobar2000 starts. Until now it was usually seen only on the first start after installing: on later starts it began before the window had a size and played unseen. It is on by default; MENU › Audio Archive turns it off.
• Lyrics written into your files are read in every common form.
  • Plain lyrics (without time stamps) are shown, unsynced, and scroll with the wheel.
  • MP3 lyrics (foobar2000 shows them as UNSYNCED LYRICS) are found, timed or not.
  • Synced lyrics online still take precedence over plain ones.
• On smaller windows (such as 1366 × 768), the selected case near the end of a shelf could sit under the Archive's top bar. A shelf now scrolls far enough, and again when the window is resized.
• The update check's jsDelivr fallback reads the latest release instead of the main branch, which jsDelivr can serve hours out of date.

修复

• **开场动画现在每次启动 foobar2000 都会播放。**此前通常只在安装后第一次启动时看得到：之后的启动中，动画在窗口尚无尺寸时就开始播放，因此看不到。默认开启，可在 菜单 › Audio Archive 中关闭。
• 内嵌歌词的常见写法都能读取：

Which download?

• RhinE-1.3.0-portable.zip — new to foobar2000, or want RhinE in its own folder: unzip, double-click Setup 一键安装.cmd, done (needs the internet once, for JSplitter).
• audio-archive-1.3.0.zip — into your own foobar2000 (64-bit): unzip, double-click install.cmd, press Enter for each question.

New

• Portable bundle. It carries foobar2000's official, unmodified installer and unpacks it as a portable foobar2000, then installs the theme. Nothing goes into the registry, and no admin rights are needed.
• One-click install: install.cmd finds foobar2000, offers to close it, and installs Columns UI and JSplitter when they are missing. uninstall.cmd removes the theme the same way.
• One-click updates from now on. When a new version is out, an orange UPDATE chip appears in the bottom bar: one click downloads only what changed (from GitHub, else jsDelivr, which is usually reachable in mainland China), checks every file against its SHA-256 and restarts foobar2000 with your settings. At most one check a day; switch it off in MENU › Audio Archive. Updating from 1.2 to 1.3 is the last update by hand.
• DSP in the bottom bar: DSP presets, the equalizer and the DSP Manager.
• PREFERENCES in the header: foobar2000's Preferences.
• VISUALIZATIONS in the Signal view: foobar2000's visualizations and those of your components.
• + ADD MUSIC FOLDER while the Archive is empty.

• The docs are split: INSTALL.md for installing, README.md for everything else.

Fixed

• Light / dark also switches in translated (e.g. Chinese) builds of foobar2000. If it still cannot switch, a message says where to do it.
• Translated lyrics reach many more lines. NetEase often splits or words lines differently from LRCLIB, and lines are now matched by how alike they are: Believer has 44 of 45 lines translated, up from 37.

RhinE — An Audio Archive 1.1.0: a foobar2000 theme. Larger-screen and 4K improvements, quicker ways into inspection, and fixes.

• Inspect from anywhere. Click the album cover in the bottom-left transport, or the signal profile card, to open the playing album's case in the Archive.
• Size controls in the Style view (DISPLAY) and the menu:
  • Text 90–150 %
  • Archive array 80–130 %
  • Inspection 100–150 %
• Lyrics view: balanced columns at every window size, and a live spectrum panel under the analysis box.

Fixes

• Layout at large text sizes and 4K: header labels, clock and date, transport time, LIGHT/DARK toggle, playlist names, grid title, skin and scheme names, the Style preview.
• Inspection no longer squeezes a cover that isn't square, then snaps it back when the full-size cover loads.
• A long format badge (e.g. PCM (FLOATING-POINT) 32/48) shortens instead of covering the album number.
• The intro's overlays keep their timing at any film frame rate.

Views

• Archive: shelves of cases or a cover grid, showing albums or tracks.
  • Group by genre, decade, artist A–Z or none; sort by artist, title, year or date added.
  • Enter inspects a case. Click a track in the list to play the album from it.
• Playlists: playlist manager, track rail, and the native playlist in two presets.
• Lyrics: synced lyrics from .lrc files or tags, or fetched from LRCLIB when a track has none (on by default; turn it off in the menu).
• Signal: 3D or 2D ∞ ring with spectrum and signal trace, or a Classic display.
• Style: case skins, colour schemes and light/dark.

The default look is dark, with the ARCHIVE scheme and the WHITE case.
