Navigator UX
- Tap-recenter / tap-stop / add Home/Work now properly land the target at the centre of the VISIBLE map area (between the top bar and the stops panel), not parked behind the panel or against the top bar. Root cause was a unit mismatch: the map projects in CSS pixels but I was passing device pixels; on a Pixel 9 with DPR 3 the offset was 3× off
- Top bar and bottom panel heights are now measured live (
onSizeChanged), so the recenter math always uses real layout sizes instead of brittle dp estimates - Stops panel no longer creeps up by a fraction of a row when you delete a stop — measured "highwater" min height holds across deletes (including removing the LAST stop, which used to collapse the panel to a hint-only state)
Crop dialog
- Fixed crash when picking a large photo: modern phone photos (50+ MP) decoded into ~191 MB ARGB bitmaps, blowing past Android's hard 100 MB Canvas limit. Picker now does a two-pass
inSampleSizedecode +createScaledBitmapfallback so the working bitmap is capped at 1024 px on the long edge - Fixed hang while dragging:
Image(bitmap = source.asImageBitmap())was rebuilding a multi-megabyte ImageBitmap on every recomposition (60 Hz during drag). Memoised withremember(source)— drag is smooth now
Carried from 0.8.7
- Two-finger map rotation with auto-snap to heading
- Marker rotation compensates for map bearing so the head always points at your real-world direction of travel
- Studio map widget marker mirrors Navigator look (size scales with widget, customized photo force-clipped to a circle)
- Route trace thickened on the Studio map widget
Wear OS companion AAB built and uploaded alongside.
