Release list
Transmog v0.1.5 Canary
Windows x64 and ARM64 Canary with signed desktop installers and standalone command-line tools.
Changes since 0.1.4:
- Manage saved responses, request and response header changes, browser-header presets, and response text replacements in one searchable Rules workspace. Filter rules, edit their properties, and enable, disable, copy, or remove selections together.
- Review trace markers beside Traffic and on the Timeline. Flag a request or response, edit notes with Undo, navigate to linked evidence, and explicitly filter nearby requests. Save marker changes with your capture.
- Find Traffic actions in grouped menus and copy readable request summaries with the method, URL, status, duration, request number, and capture name.
- Use familiar keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+N for a new Capture viewer, Ctrl+W to close a viewer, Ctrl+O to import, Ctrl+S to save a copy, Ctrl+F to filter, Ctrl+Shift+F to search contents, and Ctrl+, for Settings.
- Keep response experiment editing in Experiments, preserving drafts and keyboard focus when moving between the editor and saved revisions.
- Compare headers without treating field order as a difference. Changed values, original spelling, and duplicate occurrences remain visible.
- Clean up cancelled and stopped requests reliably and keep their final durations fixed. Show Cancelled by caller separately from proxy shutdown and connection failures, while retaining any observed HTTP status.
- Restore window position and size correctly with Windows display scaling. Clarify which selected AppContainer loopback exemptions will be added or removed.
- Share cases and rules as native .tmcase.tmcap and .tmrules.tmcap packages, with optional password protection. Bare ZIP case and rule packages are no longer accepted; SAZ traffic workflows remain available.
- Update Tauri, its desktop plugins, and stable compression, runtime, certificate, and serialization dependencies. Improve recovery of the rolling Canary update feed.
Download Transmog_0.1.5_x64-setup.exe for Windows x64 or Transmog_0.1.5_arm64-setup.exe for Windows ARM64. The desktop installs for the current user and requires Evergreen Microsoft Edge WebView2. The separate CLI downloads are transmog-cli.exe (x64) and transmog-cli-arm64.exe (ARM64).
Matching full PDBs, SHA-256 checksums, SBOMs, third-party notices, signature reports, installer qualification, and verified provenance are included in the release assets.
Transmog v0.1.4 Canary
Windows x64 and ARM64 Canary with signed desktop installers and standalone command-line tools.
Changes since 0.1.3:
- Add native Windows ARM64 installers, a standalone ARM64 CLI, and matching debug symbols alongside the x64 downloads.
- Explore selected or filtered traffic on a shared Timeline with panning and zooming. Use stable request-order numbers and clearer timing labels when investigating captures.
- Preview captured pages with saved response rules and exact experiment revisions. Updated previews start a fresh InPrivate session; missing captured resources fail without contacting the origin.
- Compare frozen requests, responses, and captures, inspect header and body differences, and navigate back to the source evidence.
- Create response experiments with named variants, saved revision history, and explicit live activation. Use copied or linked response files, request/response header rules, and literal text edits to fresh responses.
- Collect guided support captures with profiles and incident markers. Use the CLI to list or extract recorded configuration and diagnostic context, with masked password prompts and a noninteractive option.
- Save and reopen investigation cases, and share reviewed rules, response assets, and captured evidence through protected native transfers or
.tmcase.ziparchives. Simplify file and case workflows and correct archive filenames and timestamps. - Choose WebView2 or Chromium network profiles and certificate trust sources. Expand TLS and HTTP/2/3 compatibility, including hybrid post-quantum key exchange, ML-DSA authentication, and Encrypted ClientHello (ECH).
- Update archive and HTML-sanitizer dependencies, preserve bounded SAZ indexing, and strengthen dependency checks and release qualification.
Download Transmog_0.1.4_x64-setup.exe for Windows x64 or Transmog_0.1.4_arm64-setup.exe for Windows ARM64.
Canary update feed
Rolling signed updater manifest for the newest published Canary release.
Transmog v0.1.3 Canary
Windows x64 Canary with a signed desktop installer and standalone transmog-cli.exe.
Changes since 0.1.2:
- Serve auto-response bodies from copied or linked files, including binary content, with optional original compression and clear recovery for missing files.
- Edit response bodies in a syntax-aware dialog with formatting, undo, and safe draft saving. Improve response properties, captured header fidelity, and default-port URL matching.
- Reorder auto-response rules by dragging above or below a rule, with edge scrolling, cancellation, and undo while preserving unsaved edits.
- Follow the Canary update feed, show the release channel in update status, and route update checks and installer downloads through the active proxy so they appear in Traffic.
Transmog v0.1.2 Canary
Windows x64 Canary with a signed desktop installer and standalone transmog-cli.exe.
Changes since 0.1.1:
- Inspect live WebSocket and SSE messages, with HTTP/2 WebSocket support and Fiddler-compatible WebSocket export to SAZ.
- Use Windows software client certificates in the proxy and Composer, with saved rules, per-connection selection, and public TLS certificate inspection.
- Save smaller indexed TMCap captures with compression and encryption, retain recorded stream histories, and navigate full retained bodies in Hex.
- Configure listener addresses, remote access, protocol preferences, connection reuse, request-body limits, and AppContainer loopback exemptions.
- Improve Traffic and Composer inspection, ordered User-Agent/client-hint rules, capture-file associations, in-place upgrades, and optional automatic update checks.
Transmog v0.1.1 Canary
Windows x64 Canary with a signed desktop installer and standalone transmog-cli.exe.
Changes since 0.1.0:
- Traffic now uses a continuous, virtualized list for large captures. Selection, range selection, search navigation, and removal work across offscreen entries while preserving your reading position.
- Trace import drop targets highlight supported files and open a picker with a click or keyboard. Captures can import traces into Traffic or inspect their original metadata and full source path.
- Save retained traffic as SAZ with compatibility or extended-fidelity options, optional encryption, and network context. Native recording conversion suggests clearer output filenames.
- Fix SAZ metadata date attributes, proxy authority and content-length validation, trailer handling, CLI option validation, capture bookkeeping, and desktop recovery races.
Build, signing, installer qualification, permission-denial checks, and provenance: Windows signed release #18.

Transmog v0.1.0 Canary
Canary 0.1.0 brings the current main branch changes to a Windows prerelease for testing.
- Import and save HAR and Chrome NetLog traffic archives, with improved trace fidelity.
- Record directly to a chosen file, clear retained traffic, and resume proxy operation while requests drain.
- Filter traffic by multiple fetch destinations and identify recorded top-level navigations.
- Improve captured-page previews, native context menus, reload, traffic controls, keyboard focus, timing dialogs, and Monaco language support.
- Protect interception root keys with operating-system user protection, preserving existing certificate identity during migration.
- Clarify privacy and support settings and include bundled third-party credits.
