Support the full Nikon Z mirrorless lineup #12

Given how similar it is to the Z6 III I'm guessing this camera should be up there among the first. Anyhow, I can already confirm that OpenZCine seems to work very well with the Z6 III, so perhaps some work has already been done on this camera model, or they are indeed so similar that it just works well with this model as well. I had a glitch in photo mode, where some settings somehow got set to 1"shutter and F16 and every time I tried to change the settings they immediately reverted to these settings, but can't seem to reproduce the issue. I believe switching the OpenZCine DISP modes may have reset it, but it's difficult to say what caused the glitch as I can't reproduce it. In any case, I will continue to test OpenZCine on my Z6 III and possibly my Zf. PS Happy to test on these models if needed. |

I tested with a usb data cable. Tonight I will test using a different cable. As for wifi, I was using z6 iii access point. Tonight Im gonna try the home wifi. I will get to you after new test. I believe is some camera configuration as someone in github page comment that is working with the z6 iii

@vickosis<https://github.com/vickosis> I cannot make it work with z6 iii. The camera always give connection error, using usb cable or wifi. Can you give some help? Thanks
I'm still investigating why in your case specifically the Z6iii is not connecting. Just to verify for my notes, you're using a data cable? And for the Wi-Fi are you connected via the phones hotspot or via the camera's access point? Or even home wi-fi, these details will help me narrow it down 🙏

Goal
Expand OpenZCine from its Nikon ZR-first foundation to the full compatible Nikon Z mirrorless lineup.
Why it matters
The shared protocol and monitoring workflow can benefit many Nikon Z operators, but bodies differ in properties, recording modes, live-view behavior, and pairing details. Support must be explicit and safe rather than assumed.
Proposed experience
Success looks like
A user can select a supported Nikon Z body, see only valid controls, and trust record, live-view, reconnect, and media behavior for that model.
