Changes

  • Return consistent JSON for malformed JSON (400), oversized bodies (413), unsupported encodings (415), unknown routes (404) and internal errors (500).
  • Keep internal exception details out of client responses and log unexpected errors server-side.
  • Update proxy-addr to its patched 2.0.8 release.
  • Replace obsolete Yarn/MongoDB container setup with a multi-stage Node 22 image using npm, compiled TypeScript, runtime-only dependencies and a non-root user.
  • Preserve historical deployment files under legacy/deployment and exclude them from images.
  • Add Docker build, health and Compose validation to GitHub CI.

Validation

5 integration tests, strict typecheck, production build and npm audit pass with zero reported vulnerabilities. Local container build and in-container health check passed; runtime UID is 1000. GitHub CI passes tests, build, audit, all Compose configurations and a host-accessible container health check.

This is a GitHub source release. No hosted API or npm package is deployed by this release. Movie storage remains in memory and resets on restart.
