• Kad tempat ringkas · Compact place card: ★ average and number of reviews right under the name, address and opening status, then Laluan. The map centres the pin above the card. Swipe up for reviews, photos (Tambah gambar at the end) and Cadangkan suntingan.
• "Masih ditutup?" · "Still closed?" now has three big buttons with full labels (Masih ditutup · Sudah dibuka · Tak pasti) and a 10-second countdown.
• Pilih bunyi · Choose your sound: tap the sound button to choose Bunyi penuh, Amaran sahaja or Senyap, with a voice volume slider. Long-press to mute quickly. Your choice is remembered.

Privasi · Privacy

• Your location is sent only when you ask for a route. Opening a place card no longer sends it, and planned drives that start "where I am" no longer check traffic in the background (you get a reminder to open Manotu instead).

Pembetulan · Fixes

• Reinstalling Manotu, or moving to a new phone, no longer leaves the app unable to search or report.
• The home panel always collapses fully when you swipe it down.
• The place card fits at the largest font size, and coming back from Routes returns to the place.

iPhone (sideload preview)

manotu-0.3.4.ipa is unsigned: install it with AltStore Classic or Sideloadly, which sign it with your own Apple ID (free accounts need a refresh every 7 days). iCloud and Google Drive backup are not available in this build; backup to a file works. TestFlight and the App Store are coming.

• Peta dahulu · Map first: the home panel now starts as a small bar with "Ke mana?" search and one row of shortcuts (Rumah, Kerja, your favourites, then categories). The map gets about four-fifths of the screen instead of half.
• Leret ke atas · Swipe up for your recent places; swipe again for saved places, categories (Minyak, Makan, Surau, Parkir, EV, ATM, Kedai) and the privacy card. Swipe down or tap the map to go back.
• The panel returns to the small bar after every drive and when you open the app.
• New flat icons in Manotu's pale cobalt.
• TalkBack describes the panel and how to open it, in Malay and English.

Pembetulan · Fixes

• Ending a drive (or tapping Stop in the notification) while a new stop was loading could restart navigation in the background. It no longer does.
• The "Arrived at stop" card now closes soon after a reroute, so voice guidance resumes.
• Losing signal in a tunnel or dead zone no longer switches the app to demo data mid-drive.
• Changing mode or options while routes are loading no longer leaves the preview stuck on "couldn't get route".
• Road and place reports reappear on their own if the app started without a connection.
• Settings (demo mode, server) take effect immediately.
• After you arrive, "your location" follows live GPS again.

Privasi · Privacy

• A file backup you protect with a passphrase is never written unencrypted, even if Android closes the app while you pick the file. Your passphrase is never saved.
• "Share my drive" is tied to its drive and ends the moment that drive ends.
• Votes on road problems need a fresh GPS fix to count you as nearby.
• Only real drives by car or motorcycle send anonymous speed data; simulated drives, walking and cycling don't.

• Laluan bermula dari lokasi sebenar anda · Routes start from where you really are. If your location is unknown, Manotu says so and lets you pick a start point on the map or search for one (it never guesses from the map). You can also choose a start from Home, Work, favourites or recent places, and swap start and destination.
• Masalah jalan · Road problems: report a closed road, no road, one way or a turn you can't make while driving. One report never closes a road: drivers nearby are asked to confirm.
• Mengelak jalan ditutup · Avoid closures: routes go around confirmed closures, with details and "Lalu juga (saya tahu jalan ini)" to drive through anyway for that trip.
• Cadangkan suntingan · Suggest an edit for places: permanently or temporarily closed, opening hours, entrance or parking, name/type/phone, duplicate. Places show badges such as "Tutup sementara sehingga …".
• If you leave the route at a turn, Manotu may ask once, after the trip, why ("Kenapa tak ikut laluan?"). Only your answer and that spot are sent, never your trip.
• Navigasi tidak lagi bermula sendiri · Navigation no longer starts by itself. Auto-start is off by default (Settings → "Start navigation automatically").

• The Routes button on a place card is always above the phone's navigation bar, at any font size.
• A network failure while the app is in the background no longer switches it to demo data; it reconnects on return.
• Distances are only shown when your real location is known. About shows "Server: Manotu".

Berpindah dari Gimano · Moving from Gimano

Manotu is a new app (my.manotu.app), so Android installs it next to Gimano rather than updating it:

1. In Gimano: Settings → Backup → export a file or back up to your Google Drive.
2. Install Manotu, then choose "Restore from a backup" on first run.
3. Keep the old app and your backup until you've checked your favourites and places are in Manotu. Removing the old app is optional.

Note: Google Drive backup uses Google sign-in. The app's Google OAuth is in production for all users. Google's branding review of the consent screen hasn't been approved yet, so the sign-in screen may look plainer until it is. File backup works without Google.
