Maestro 1.0.0

The first curated public release of Maestro, a local-first orchestration layer for Codex, Gemini and Claude Code.

Included

  • desktop, browser and terminal control surfaces;
  • durable file-based agent handoffs;
  • human checkpoints, retry and resume paths;
  • workflow validation, output verification and snapshots;
  • classified failures and configurable fallback routing;
  • contribution, security and issue-reporting guidance.

Verification

  • 100 automated tests passed on Windows with Python 3.13;
  • python -m compileall -q . completed successfully;
  • known credential-prefix scan returned zero hits.

Maestro does not bundle provider credentials. Real-agent runs require locally installed and authenticated command-line tools.
