Added
- Two new boards, built from their makers' documentation and not yet run on
hardware: the Espressif ESP32-P4X-C5-Function-EV-Board (funcev-c5) and
the Waveshare ESP32-P4-WIFI6-DB (p4-wifi6-db). Both are boards already
supported with a dual-band ESP32-C5 in place of the C6, so they can join a
5 GHz network. The WIFI6-DB has no Ethernet, like the WIFI6. - A pre-3.0 image for the Espressif ESP32-P4 Function EV Board
(funcev-rev1). The funcev image is rev 3.x, because the board it was
brought up on carries a rev 3.2 chip, but earlier units of the same board
carry rev 1.x. The flasher now asks which one you have. This image sends the
log to both the USB-to-UART port (board v1.4) and the USB Serial/JTAG one
(v1.5). Not tried on hardware yet. - A rev 3.x image for the Waveshare ESP32-P4-Module-DEV-KIT
(p4-module-devkit-rev3). Waveshare's shop now lists the ESP32-P4-Module
with an ESP32-P4NRW32X, and the older image does not start on that chip.
Fixed
- "Install any release" on the NANO-WIFI6-DB asked for a file named
...-p4-nano-wifi6-db-rev3.bin, which releases do not have. The board's id no
longer carries the suffix.
Changed
- The Waveshare ESP32-P4-WIFI6-DEV-KIT is confirmed on hardware by
@brooklyn5w4g: a v1.2 board with a rev 3.1 chip, H.264 at about 23 fps. The
docs said to set its USB jumper to DEVICE; that is right only on v1.1. The
jumper picks USB-A port 1 or the hub, and Waveshare swapped its labels on
v1.2, so there the target goes on port 1 with the jumper on HOST.
