RankReady now supports Google's Open Knowledge Format (OKF).

New

  • Google Open Knowledge Format (OKF) — RankReady builds an AI-readable OKF bundle of your content at /okf/ (manifest, one markdown file per concept, change log), rebuilt automatically every time you publish or edit, with a one-click download of the whole bundle for Google Cloud Knowledge Catalog. Runs entirely on your own server.
  • WebMCP manifest restored at /.well-known/mcp.json.

  • Several bug fixes and improvements for a better experience.

Patch release — fixes Accept: text/markdown negotiation on Cloudflare/Varnish/Fastly-cached sites.

What's fixed

  • Cloudflare-CDN-Cache-Control: no-store auto-emitted on markdown requests. Markdown bypasses CDN cache, reaches origin, returns correct content-type. HTML requests still cache normally.
  • Cloudflare Cache Rule snippet added to Settings → Diagnostics → Server/CDN bypass snippets. Copy-paste into Cloudflare dashboard → 2-minute fix for any site running CF.
  • New diagnostic probe — "Accept: text/markdown end-to-end" — hits your live homepage with markdown Accept header and reports any cache layer overriding the content-type.

End-to-end verified

  • ✅ Passes acceptmarkdown.com on properly configured stacks
  • ✅ Passes isitagentready.com
  • ✅ RFC 9110 §12 q-value parsing — text/html;q=1.0 beats text/markdown;q=0.5
  • ✅ 99.5% byte reduction on typical posts (71KB HTML → 374B markdown)
