Fixed

• Honor the last recognized task status field so appended completion or reopening updates override stale task metadata.
• Normalize task statuses case-insensitively and recognize Complete, Completed, and Done as completed work.
• Prevent completed tasks from being rerun, including explicitly selected tasks, while preserving deferred-task dependency checks.
• Document task status precedence and add regression coverage for single-file and directory task catalogs.

Validation

• All 33 local test suites passed across the full run and one isolated rerun: the unchanged Pi suite initially inherited the environment's /tmp/.git marker and passed all 27 tests with an isolated temporary directory.
• All 17 new task-status regressions passed, including CLI dry-run checks.
• Plugin validation: zero errors and two existing warnings. Shell syntax, JSON validity, and diff checks passed.
• GitHub CI passed on rerun, including all test suites, plugin validation, shell syntax, and JSON checks. The initial CI attempt hit an unchanged validation-session test fixture race: its non-atomic fixture write briefly exposed empty JSON to a concurrent reader; a diagnostic reproduction confirmed atomic fixture publication eliminates the failure. The release commit was unchanged for the successful rerun.
• Release-triggered ZCode marketplace publication succeeded.
