What's Changed

  • Trimmed MCP tool descriptions — all 23 tool descriptions shortened from ~30-40 words to ~10-20 words, reducing system prompt token overhead
  • Default token budgets — wonk_search, wonk_ref, wonk_callers, wonk_callees now default to 2000-token budget when no budget parameter is provided, preventing large result sets
  • Richer ref context — wonk_ref now returns ±1 surrounding source lines (with line numbers) instead of just the matching line, reducing follow-up Read calls
  • Budget parameter for wonk_ref — wonk_ref now accepts a budget parameter
