What's New

New: Unified fitexport binary

  • Merged fit2csv, gpx2csv, and tcx2csv into a single fitexport binary that auto-detects file format from extension.

fitrename improvements

  • Combined rename and move into a single atomic operation (rename_and_move()), removing the intermediate rename step.
  • Fixed substitution ordering bug: tokens like %month are now always replaced before shorter tokens like %mo can greedily match.
  • Braced token syntax: patterns now support {%year} in addition to bare %year. The braced form is recommended.
  • Updated README with corrected token table and documentation.

Utilities

  • TCX start_time now uses proper DateTime<Local> with trackpoint time fallback.
  • FIT lap/record CSV export uses custom serde serializers for flat UOM values.
  • Duration wrapper replaced with f64 newtype for simpler serialization.
  • HashMap capacity pre-allocation and GPX time fallback improvements.

Housekeeping

  • Improved error handling robustness across fitexport.
  • Fixed security and robustness issues workspace-wide.
  • Cleaned up empty doc comments, updated all README files.
  • Dependencies updated (time, tokio, fitparser, gpx).
