Find the media your phone forgot.

MediaRescue is an offline-first Android storage and media rescue tool designed to help you find, browse, preview, and manage files across your device storage.

Modern Android versions make some storage locations harder to access through traditional gallery apps and file browsers. MediaRescue scans your accessible storage and organizes discovered files into a simple interface.

Android App Bundle

app-release.aab

The AAB is intended for distribution through Google Play.

APK

APK is included in the release assets, you can install it directly on compatible Android devices.

For Google Play distribution, use the Android App Bundle.

🔐 Release Signing

This release uses a dedicated release/upload keystore.

The signing key is kept outside the public repository and is not included in this release.

Never share your keystore or key.properties file publicly.

MediaRescue depends on the storage access APIs and restrictions provided by the Android version running on your device.

Some protected Android directories or files might not be accessible depending on the device, Android version, manufacturer restrictions, or granted permissions.
