Feature Description
This is sparked from the following chart on fivethirtyeight.com
On mouse over, there is an indicator and after 1-2 second pause, it highlights the specific point in the line chart.
Initial mouse over:

Goal of Feature
This feature would be a very nice design element to the line charts when using multi-series.
Current Solution
There is no way to do this currently (although I guess I could use custom charts). I have an example of the short comings in the mds in a box project: Advanced analytics page.
Currently multi series line chart mouse over looks like this:
