  • Cutscenes no longer require the full L1+R1+L2+R2+START combo after loading a save. START by itself should now work to skip cutscenes all the time.

  • Buying weapons from the vendor when vendor randomization is disabled should work again. There's still a visual bug where the item stays in the vendor until you close and reopen the it.
  • Fixed Gadgetron empty vendor crash.

Known Issues

  • Lots of weird edge cases with Deathlink. I would consider this an unstable feature still.
  • The taxi near the Hypnotist on Damosel may not arrive when it should.
  • Some of the Hypnomatic Part locations still give their original popup message.
  • The Tabora void bug and getting extra bolts on reload seem to be related to a saving issue. You should be able to mitigate these issues by saving manually before closing the game. Also recommend to save after picking up the Tabora wrench upgrade location.
  • There's a visual bug where purchased items stay in the vendor until you close and reopen the vendor screen when vendor randomization is off.

- Platform: Playstation 2 (This project will not be tackling the Playstation 3 versions)

There is rooms for other versions/regions to be added in the future.

Basic Setup

AP World Installation

  1. Unzip the downloaded Ratchet & Clank 2 apworld zip file
  2. Double-click the rac2.apworld to install it to your local Archipelago instance

PCSX2 Settings

  • Enable PINE in PCSX2
    • In PCSX2, Under Tools, Check Show Advanced Settings
    • In PCSX2, System -> Settings -> Advanced tab -> PINE Settings,
      Check Enable and ensure Slot is set to 28011
