meetspec 0.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@IkramKhan-DevOps IkramKhan-DevOps released this 14 Oct 13:37

First public version of meetspec: turn meeting recordings into requirements your AI coding agent can build and verify.

Install

uv tool install git+https://github.com/exarth-labs/meetspec@v0.1.0

New to uv? See Install in the README.

What's in it

  • meetings transcribe: local transcription with faster-whisper for Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, phone recordings or any audio/video file. Per-speaker transcripts from Zoom's separate audio files or any folder of per-person tracks (--per-speaker). The meeting date comes from the recording's name, the project glossary is used as the prompt, and progress is shown for both the model download and the transcription.
  • meetings install: sets up .meetings/ in a project with AGENTS.md, playbooks, templates and a glossary. It also installs Claude Code skills and a Cursor rule, and keeps everything out of git through .git/info/exclude.
  • meetings status: requirements checked against the code and tests that reference them, as STATUS.md or JSON.
  • Playbooks for any AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, …): process-meeting, implement-req, req-check.
  • Versioned JSON formats for tools: meetspec/transcript/v1, meetspec/status/v1.

Tested on macOS, Windows and Linux with Python 3.10 and 3.14.
