python-redmine-expert 3.3.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 19 Oct 10:37

New Features:

  • HelpdeskKbEntry resource for the knowledge base of redmine_expert_helpdesk >= 0.23.0: get, filter,
    create, update, delete, approve()/reject() and the project-wide reindex()/reextract() jobs.
    Updates return the entry the plugin sends back, so vector_sync tells whether the vector store took
    the change

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Oct 13:10

Support for the REST API additions of Redmine 6.0 - 7.0.

New Features:

  • OAuth2 access token authentication via Redmine(url, oauth_token='...') or redmine.session(oauth_token=...)
    (requires Redmine >= 6.1)
  • Group user.add() accepts a list of user ids, user.remove() too (bulk removal requires Redmine >= 7.0)
  • Issue journal updated_by (Redmine >= 6.0), custom field projects and wiki page project
    (Redmine >= 7.0) are converted to resources, wiki pages use the returned project for project_id and url

Bugfixes:

  • redmine.user.all() failed with a validation error on Redmine >= 6.0 unless version was configured,
    as Redmine no longer accepts the empty status parameter. An unknown version is now treated as a current one,
    configure version when talking to Redmine < 5.1

Documentation:

  • New fields (user status, include=['auth_source'], custom field is_for_all and
    default_value_mode) and filters (issue author.group/author.role, time entry user.group/
    user.role, project updated_on) of Redmine 6.0 - 7.0

python-redmine-expert 3.1.1

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Oct 12:18

Improvements:

  • The RedmineUP Agile, Checklists and Questions resources have now also been verified against a live Redmine
    with the plugins installed (Agile 1.6.14, Checklists 4.0.2, Questions 1.0.10), no changes were needed.
    The documentation notes the plugin behaviour found on the way, e.g. that Agile's sprint totals are
    unreliable and story points should be read per issue.

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Oct 11:57

New Features:

  • Support for the RedmineUP plugins, following the API of the former Python-Redmine Pro Edition where it had one,
    so code written for it keeps working:

    • CRM (redmine_contacts): Contact (incl. contact.project.add()/remove()), ContactTag, Note,
      Deal, DealStatus, DealCategory and CrmQuery resources, contacts, deals and
      deal_categories relations on projects and users
    • Helpdesk (redmine_contacts_helpdesk): Ticket and TicketJournal resources incl. ticket.reply(),
      helpdesk parameters on issue creation
    • Agile (redmine_agile): AgileSprint and AgileData resources (new, Pro Edition never had them)
    • Checklists (redmine_checklists): Checklist resource and checklists relation on issues
    • Questions (redmine_questions): QuestionsStatus resource, the only part of the plugin that has an API

Changes:

  • Issue checklists are sent as an index keyed hash instead of a list, as redmine_checklists fails on
    issue update with a list
  • Behaviour is modelled on the plugin sources (CRM 4.4.7, Helpdesk 4.2.10, Agile 1.6.14, Checklists 4.0.2,
    Questions 1.0.10) and works around their quirks, e.g. deal prices are sent as strings, deal.all()
    includes closed deals, note dates in RFC 822 are parsed, agile sprint updates answering with a redirect are
    treated as success. Each resource's documentation lists what the plugin does and doesn't support.

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Oct 09:30

First release of the expert fork, distributed as python-redmine-expert. The import name redminelib
is unchanged, so it is a drop-in replacement for python-redmine 2.5.0.

Changes:

  • Distribution renamed to python-redmine-expert, maintained by expert Zentrale after upstream development
    stopped
  • Python 3.10 - 3.14 and PyPy3 are supported, Python 3.7 - 3.9 support has been dropped
  • Requires requests >= 2.32
  • Packaging moved from setup.py to pyproject.toml, code is linted and formatted with ruff
  • Removed Pro Edition documentation, licensing and payment information, as Pro Edition code is not part of this fork

New Features:

  • Support for the redmine_expert_helpdesk plugin: HelpdeskTicket, HelpdeskContact,
    HelpdeskMailbox (incl. test_connection()) and HelpdeskProjectSetting resources, helpdesk_init
    on issue creation
  • Support for the redmine_expert_agile plugin: ExpertAgileSprint and ExpertAgileData resources

Bugfixes:

  • API key authentication, impersonation and engine-wide requests params were silently dropped from every
    request since the unreleased upstream change that moved session options into per-request kwargs
  • repr()/str() raised IndexError for resources that only contain an id, e.g. {'project': {'id': 1}}
