Extend SDK v1.0.0 — API Version 2026-02-09

This is a major release that targets the new 2026-02-09 Extend API. It introduces dedicated, type-safe endpoints for every resource type, synchronous processing methods, and simplified response shapes.

Highlights

  • Dedicated endpoints for each resource type — The unified /processors and /processor_runs endpoints have been replaced with dedicated endpoints: /extractors, /classifiers, /splitters, and their corresponding run and sync endpoints (/extract, /classify, /split).
  • Fully typed SDK responses — No more checking type fields or manual casting. Extraction, classification, and splitting each have their own strongly typed request and response objects.
  • Run without pre-creating a resource — Pass config inline to run endpoints without needing to create an extractor, classifier, or splitter first.
  • Synchronous endpoints — New sync methods (extract, classify, split, parse, edit) return completed results in a single request — ideal for testing and onboarding.
  • Polling helpers — createAndPoll / create_and_poll methods on all async run clients handle polling with exponential backoff out of the box.
  • Simplified response shapes — Single-object responses are unwrapped (no more { "success": true, "processorRun": { ... } } wrappers) and list responses use a standardized { "object": "list", "data": [...] } format.
  • Webhook helpers — SDK utilities for verifying signatures and parsing webhook events with type-safe payloads.
