• Автоскрытие. Свёрнутый остров может уходить за край экрана, чтобы не закрывать вкладки браузера и кнопки окон. Он возвращается, если задержать курсор у самого верхнего края экрана над ним, и сам выходит с карточкой, записью или диктовкой. Включается в «Настройки → Общее → Прятать остров, пока он не нужен».
• Прозрачность острова: отдельно для свёрнутого и для раскрытого, там же в настройках.
• Часы посередине свёрнутого острова, а на ноутбуке рядом заряд батареи. Обе вещи отключаются в настройках.

• В командной строке поиск в интернете называется «Искать в браузере».
• По правому клику больше не открывается меню Microsoft Edge. В полях ввода вместо него своё меню: вырезать, копировать, вставить, выделить всё.

Everything new in this version is free.

• Auto-hide. The folded island can leave the screen so that it does not cover browser tabs and window buttons. It comes back when the cursor rests at the very top edge of the screen above it, and comes out by itself with a card, a recording or a dictation. Turn it on in Settings → General → Hide the island until it is needed.
• Transparency of the island: one setting for the folded island and one for the open one, in the same place.
• The time in the middle of the folded island, and the battery charge next to it on a laptop. Both can be turned off in the settings.
• Control centre: a new tab with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, the dark theme and buttons to lock, sleep, restart and shut down. Sleep, restart and shut down ask to be pressed twice. The same is in the command bar: "wifi", "bluetooth", "theme", "lock".
• A screen recording is easier to stop: the island has a Stop button with the word on it, and the Record screen tile on Home turns into a red Stop with a timer while a recording runs.
• The web search in the command bar is called "Search in the browser".
• A right click no longer opens the menu of Microsoft Edge. Text fields have a menu of their own instead: cut, copy, paste, select all.
