Additional Scripts/Functions for Post-Processing

Below are the additional functions that could be called outside the pipeline. For a detailed description of their usage, please refer to the scripts.

  • add_event.m: adds event for ROI n at time t

  • event_stats.m: calculates event statistics

  • plot_signal_pixel.m: plots intensity of a pixel over time, with subplots of 1) raw signal and baseline; 2) delta F; 3) delta F over F, with detected peaks; 4) rising and falling slopes, with detected peaks

  • remove_event.m: removes event for ROI n at time t

  • remove_ROI.m: remove an ROI

  • ROI_pxMap_allTime.m: plots map of delta F for ROI n at each time point of event

  • save_data.m: saves results as .mat for future analysis

  • show_label_mask.m: show label mask including only ROIs present in event_cluster

  • spike_train.m: use spike train analysis for ROI k

  • spike_train_par.m: defines parameter for spike train analysis

The following figure is an example of the label mask after processing.

For record-keeping purposes, it is recommended to save a script for the post-processing of each trial. An example script can be found here.
