SS1 Tool v1.15.2

New

  • ★ Wizard: guided first-time setup. It's always shown at the bottom left of the menu, in yellow.
    1. Pick the SD card from a list. Only SD and USB card readers are shown.
    2. Choose the Console Mode or Regular image from the latest official release.
    3. Download, install and verify it. A pop-up confirms the card and image before anything is erased.
    4. Put the card in the SuperStation and let its installer finish.
    5. Finish setup over the network (Ethernet) or with the SD card back in this PC. Every step works both ways.
    6. Set up WiFi (optional), scripts (SS1 plus Reflex Adapt Manager and PSX BIOS Patcher), the Update All stable lane with the live Linux advisory, Samba, the overlap tool check and removal, and ScreenScraper / TheGamesDB (optional).
    7. A final summary, then restart the SuperStation or eject the card.
    • Each step shows what's already in place. The wizard remembers where you left off, including after restarting as administrator. Passwords are never saved.
  • Flash SD Card image choice: pick Console Mode (recommended) or Regular, each with an explanation, file name and release. The newest release is always used. If GitHub's limits get in the way, the tool reads the release page instead.

Changed

  • Menu always visible: the menu and top bar stay in place while you scroll, so every option, including ★ Wizard, is always visible.
  • Dashboard temperature: removed from the System card. The Temperature card only appears on hardware with a sensor, and the SuperStation One has none Linux can read.
  • Dashboard CPU card: the clock speed is shown once on the summary line (e.g. 2 cores · 2 threads · ARM Cortex-A9 @ 800 MHz), with one tidy row per thread.
  • README: a new Wizard section, the Flash SD Card image choice, and 12 updated screenshots.
