Added

  • "Box (centered)" banner type. Positions the consent box in the centre of the viewport via a CSS transform, a common layout on European sites. The centred popup has no corner-position choice, disables the Sidebar preference-center option (unlike the corner Box, the centred popup has no sidebar template), and falls back to a popup preference center; Pushdown is not offered.
  • "Dim the page behind the banner" option. A semi-transparent overlay greys out the page to draw attention to the banner. The overlay is a visual cue only — it is rendered with pointer-events: none and aria-hidden="true", so it never blocks reading, scrolling, or clicking and does not act as a cookie wall (consent stays freely given, per GDPR/EDPB). Available for Box corner, Box centered, and Full-width Banner types; automatically disabled for the Classic layout, enforced client-side (editor reset) and at render time (the frontend data pipeline plus apply_runtime_layout_compatibility()), so a Classic banner never renders the overlay even if a direct API write persisted the flag. Default off.

Changed

  • Geo-routing admin clarity (#178#182). Corrected the misleading "automatic per-country" copy: runtime application of a rule-set to the live banner (consent model, GPC, Do-Not-Sell) is off — the ruleset catalogue is preview/reference only — while per-country banner selection still works. The runtime off-state is now exposed in the /geo/status REST payload, and the remaining Pipeline-status strings are routed through the i18n helper (JS fallback kept in sync with the PHP copy).
