PawBook v6.0.0 – Multi-Pet Hub

PawBook 6.0 introduces a true multi-pet experience for households with more than one dog.

PawBook Family

When multiple pets are configured, PawBook now shows a family dashboard before the selected pet record.

Each pet card includes:

  • photo;
  • name and breed;
  • current weight;
  • next vaccination;
  • number of current reminders.

Selecting a pet immediately opens that pet's individual PawBook record.

Family reminders

PawBook now aggregates automatic reminders across all pets.

The Family Hub shows the most important reminders together while always identifying the pet they belong to. Selecting a reminder switches to the correct pet and opens the relevant section.

Shared health agenda

Upcoming health events from every configured pet are combined into one family agenda.

This includes:

  • vaccination recalls;
  • treatment start/end events;
  • estimated heat-cycle events.

Selecting an event opens the calendar for the correct pet.

Data separation

PawBook 6.0 does not merge pet records.

Each animal continues to use its own Home Assistant config entry and keeps separate:

  • profile;
  • health records;
  • vaccinations;
  • visits;
  • treatments;
  • weight;
  • heat cycles;
  • ENCI data;
  • genealogy;
  • attachments;
  • backups.

The Multi-Pet Hub only aggregates the information needed for the family overview.

Compatibility

All PawBook 5.0 features remain available for every individual pet.

PawBook v5.0.0 – Health Hub

PawBook 5.0 focuses on clarity, automation and interaction across the health dashboard.

Automatic Reminders

Reminders are generated automatically from the data already stored in PawBook. There is nothing to fill in manually.

The new Reminders Center can surface:

  • vaccination recalls that are expired or due within 30 days;
  • treatments ending within 3 days;
  • veterinary visits when more than 12 months have passed;
  • weight reminders when more than 30 days have passed since the last measurement;
  • entry into the estimated next heat-cycle window.

The reminder strip on the Smart Dashboard is now fully clickable and opens the complete Reminders Center.

Heat Cycle Center fixes

  • Fixed Modify / Delete buttons that could appear over unrelated cards.
  • Heat-cycle controls are now positioned inside the correct cycle row.
  • Clicking a heat-cycle row opens that exact cycle for editing.
  • The edit window clearly displays the selected cycle start and end dates.
  • Delete confirmation now identifies the exact heat cycle being removed.
  • Record matching is more robust.

Preserved features

  • Smart Dashboard
  • Health Calendar
  • Estimated next heat cycle
  • Compact and filterable Health Timeline
  • Vaccination Center
  • Veterinary Center
  • Treatments Center

PawBook v4.8.0 – Smart Reminders & Health Calendar

PawBook 4.8.0 makes the health record proactive by combining reminders and upcoming health events in one place.

Health Calendar

A new calendar is available directly inside the PawBook panel.

It includes:

  • vaccination recalls;
  • treatment start dates;
  • treatment end dates;
  • estimated next heat date;
  • upcoming event summary;
  • previous / next month navigation;
  • smartphone-friendly layout.

The native Home Assistant PawBook calendar is also extended with the estimated heat-cycle window.

Smart Reminders

New Home Assistant entities provide more useful automation triggers:

  • estimated next heat date;
  • days until estimated next heat;
  • estimated heat-window binary sensor;
  • treatment-ending binary sensor for therapies ending within three days.

The Smart Dashboard also includes a reminder strip showing the most relevant current reminder.

Important

The estimated heat date and window are statistical projections based on the recorded PawBook history. They are not veterinary predictions.

Compatibility

  • Existing PawBook data is preserved.
  • ENCI, pedigree, Smart Dashboard, Health Timeline and all previous Centers remain compatible.
  • Frontend and panel registration are aligned on pawbook-panel-v480.
