Streezy v1.3.4
Small fixes found while writing the user guide, so what the app says always matches what it does.
- Lock now really locks a source: a locked source can no longer be resized from its corner or nudged with the arrow
keys, only unlocked. - The recording folder in Settings shows as
%USERPROFILE%\Videos\Streezy, so a screenshot never shows your Windows
username. - Follow and Tip alerts are marked "Coming soon" (real ones need platform sign-in); every other alert works, and
Send a test works for all of them. - The Music and Talk show setup cards now describe what they build.
- Turning clips on says how much is kept, using your own clip length.
- Fixed messages that pointed to the wrong place: "Add > Webcam or capture card", "Add it in Accounts", and Low-end
mode in "Settings > Quality". - Removed a tip about dropping files onto the preview, which did not work.
- The Privacy page now explains that the Stream Deck remote port is protected by its password.

Streezy v1.3.3
Lighter and faster: no more PC-wide lag when Streezy starts.
- Fixed: the mouse and keyboard of the whole PC lagged for a few seconds while Streezy started.
- The cause was global hotkeys. Streezy ran a keyboard hook and a mouse hook, so every key press and every mouse
movement on the PC waited for Streezy first, and froze while Streezy was busy. - Hotkeys and push-to-talk now check only the keys you set, about 60 times a second, the way OBS does. Nothing
waits for Streezy any more, and keys still reach your game. - In testing, mouse delays at startup went from up to 250 ms to none.
- The cause was global hotkeys. Streezy ran a keyboard hook and a mouse hook, so every key press and every mouse
- The window opens faster. Pages are built the first time you open them, instead of all twelve at startup. The
Alerts preview alone started a web engine. Chat and alerts that arrive before you open a page still show on it. - Reading stream keys from Windows is instant. The first read took about 200 ms, and the keyring library loads in
the background now. - Streezy no longer ships the pynput library.

Streezy v1.3.2
- YouTube chat shows up while you're live. Streezy reads the chat of the broadcast you went live on, by its ID. Chat
used to read the channel saved in Chat settings, which could be another one, and then no YouTube chat appeared.
Signing in to YouTube now also points chat at that channel. - Type in YouTube chat from Streezy. Messages go to YouTube while you're live (signed in), and to Twitch if you're
signed in to Twitch chat. The box says where your message goes. Each YouTube message uses about 50 units of the free
daily YouTube allowance; reading chat uses none. - The previews show where each canvas ends. The area around the canvas uses the app's background, and a thin line
marks the canvas edge, so a dark or empty scene no longer blends in.

Streezy v1.3.1
- Set your YouTube description, tags, category and thumbnail in Go live, like OBS's Manage broadcast. Streezy sets
them on YouTube when you go live and keeps them for next time.- The thumbnail you pick is turned into a 1280×720 JPEG under YouTube's 2 MB limit.
- Custom thumbnails need a channel that has verified a phone number (youtube.com/verify). If YouTube refuses,
Streezy says why and the stream still starts.
- Go live shows the channel you're going live on in full, on its own line.

Streezy v1.3.0
A full review of the app: going live, the engine, audio, scenes and startup. Over 60 problems fixed.
Going live
- Streams always use H.264 unless you choose otherwise. AV1 was picked automatically for YouTube. An AV1 or HEVC
encoder chosen in Settings also went to Twitch, Kick and other platforms that refuse it. - Sign in with YouTube asks which account and channel to use, and Go live shows the channel you're going live on.
Picking Unlisted or Private explains that the stream won't appear on your channel. - One broadcast per stream.
- A broadcast left live by a crash or a closed Streezy is ended before you go live again.
- Other broadcasts waiting on your stream key are released.
- A network blip no longer creates a second broadcast.
- The broadcast ends whenever the stream ends, not only when you press End.
- Signing in no longer overwrites a YouTube destination you set up with another key. A destination you removed
doesn't come back, and chat switches to the channel you switched to. - Two destinations sharing one stream key are stopped before going live. So is a platform with no key.
- Fallback encoder. If the graphics card's encoder won't start (driver, session limit), the stream starts on the
processor instead. - Ending a stream is final. An engine crash right after you press End no longer goes live again. A failed
reconnect after a crash ends the stream properly and says so. An old End timer can't end your next stream. - Slow connections and long reconnects are no longer cut off after five seconds.
- The Go live key now needs two presses to end a stream. F9 is a quick-load key in many games.
Audio
- Go live and the stream doctor warn when sound plays twice. With PC sound set to "Everything", an app audio
source for the game played it a second time. Adding app audio in that mode now asks first. - App audio plays in every scene, not only the one it was added to.
- The first microphone you add becomes your mic, so push-to-talk, mute keys and the Go live check work on it.
A mic from an imported OBS collection is found too. - The PC sound setting shows what is really captured, and changes only when you press Apply.
- Mute and monitoring changes are saved, so a crash recovery no longer unmutes a source.
- Noise removal goes back to the start of the mic chain when you turn it on again.
- Stream Deck and other OBS WebSocket tools mute and unmute the mic correctly in push-to-talk mode.
- Sound added on the vertical canvas goes on the horizontal one, because both streams use its sound.
Scenes and Studio
- Turning the vertical canvas off keeps your vertical scenes. They were deleted before.
- The camera button hides the webcam on both streams.
- The Sources panel no longer gets stuck on the 9:16 canvas after vertical is turned off.
- Renaming a vertical scene renames that scene, and automation rules follow renamed scenes.
- Deleting the scene on air keeps the vertical stream in step.
- The preview selection is cleared when the scene changes, so arrow keys and Delete no longer move or remove an
item in the new scene. - No more duplicates. Adding a camera that's already in use reuses it, adding something already in the scene says
so, and overlays are matched by their address, not their name. - A scene can't be put inside itself. Removing a nested scene no longer deletes it, which could crash the engine.
- The repair after loading sees inside groups, so grouped webcams and captures are never removed.
Startup, settings and safety
- Your scenes are never overwritten.
- Closing the first-run wizard with X no longer builds a template over your scenes later.
- A collection that fails to load is never saved over; the stream doctor offers to try again.
- New, Rename and Duplicate refuse names that are already taken.
- A settings file that is locked for a moment is not replaced with defaults. A damaged one is kept aside.
- Hotkeys no longer fire while you type in other apps. Stream mute moved from Shift+M to Ctrl+Alt+M, and Be right
back from Ctrl+B to Ctrl+Shift+B. - The watchdog only restarts an engine that has really stopped answering, not one waiting on a busy window.
- Fewer false crash prompts. "Didn't close properly" no longer appears after Windows logs off or after an update.
- Local security.
- Other websites can no longer read overlay files, which hold the OBS WebSocket password.
- DNS-rebinding tricks are refused.
- The phone remote pauses logins after five wrong PINs, and changing the PIN disconnects every phone.
- Updates. An update without a published checksum isn't run, and an update never closes Streezy while you're live.
- Engine robustness. Leaks on error paths are fixed, canvas changes are safer, shutdown is cleaner, and destinations
no longer share an encoder whose bitrate the dynamic bitrate setting changes.

Streezy v1.2.0
Dual (horizontal + vertical) streaming that stays in step, collections that repair themselves, and a safe way back
after a crash.
- The vertical stream switches with you. Each vertical scene is paired with a horizontal one. Switch to Be right
back and Shorts viewers see your vertical BRB too, whether you switch with a click, a hotkey, the phone remote, an
automation or an OBS WebSocket tool. Pairs are kept by scene ID, so renaming a scene keeps its pair. Right-click a
vertical scene, then Switches with, to choose its pair, or switch it by hand. Turn following off in Settings → Video. - Collections are checked and repaired every time they load.
- Older collections are paired by name, so V BRB goes with Be right back and V Live with Gameplay.
- A horizontal scene without a vertical version gets one. New and duplicated scenes get one straight away.
- Removing a horizontal scene also removes the vertical scene Streezy made for it. A vertical scene you remove
yourself stays removed. - Two game captures of the same game are merged into one. Only one capture can hook a game, so the second one
waited forever on "waiting for the game". - Capture and webcam sources that were in no scene, but still held the camera or the game hook, are freed.
- A collection with no scenes gets a blank one.
- The stream doctor lists everything that was fixed.
- The vertical canvas runs at the same frame rate as the main one (it was 30 fps against 60). It follows when you
change the main frame rate, so both streams stay smooth and in step. - Safe start after a crash. If Streezy didn't close properly, it says so the next time it starts. It offers to
start without your scenes and your own plugins, and recommends this if the crash happened while loading scenes or
more than once in a row. Your saved scenes are never overwritten in safe start. Load them again from the stream
doctor. The log of the run that crashed is kept with the crash reports. - Sources and scenes are tracked by their unique IDs inside the engine. A scene named the same on both canvases could
free the wrong one, and vertical scenes could not be renamed. Scene names are now also kept unique across both
canvases.

Streezy v1.1.2
Stability release for vertical (9:16) streaming and game capture.
- Changing the canvas no longer says "Stop streaming and recording" when you aren't live. The clip buffer (for the
clip key) runs all the time and used to block it. Streezy now pauses the clip buffer, changes the canvas and starts
it again. Streaming and recording still have to stop first. - The canvas size in Settings → Video shows your real size. It always showed 1280×720, so pressing Apply could
shrink your canvas by mistake. - Turning the vertical canvas on gives it scenes straight away. Before, it was empty, and adding anything said
"No scene called None". Each scene gets a vertical twin: your game, screen or window capture fills it (webcam on
top if you have one), with your alerts; other scenes are shown whole. - The vertical canvas shows your game right away. Adding a game now reuses the game capture you already have. A
second capture of the same game can never connect, which left the vertical canvas on "waiting for the game".
New game captures also use the anti-cheat-friendly hook and a faster hook rate. - Overlay Add buttons say which scene they added to, and a second click no longer adds a second copy.
- Clicking an empty vertical preview, or listing scenes with the vertical canvas off, no longer causes errors.
- Turning the vertical canvas off while its stream is live now explains why it stays on.
- After naming a scene, Streezy keeps the focus instead of handing it to another app.
- The Scenes list stays on the 9:16 tab when you come back to Studio.

Streezy v1.1.0
- Sign in with YouTube (Accounts). Streezy fills in your stream key, and Go live creates the YouTube broadcast with
your title and visibility (Public, Unlisted or Private), so it goes live the moment the video arrives. Pressing End
finishes it on YouTube. Signing out removes Streezy's access at Google. Your sign-in stays in Windows Credential
Manager on your PC. While Google reviews Streezy, YouTube sign-in works for invited testers; pasting a stream key
works for everyone. - If anything on YouTube's side fails, you still go live with your saved key and Streezy tells you what happened.

Streezy v1.0.3
- YouTube chat now works with any link you paste: your channel link, @handle, a stream link, a youtu.be link or the
YouTube Studio live page. Before, a full channel link always said "not live". - YouTube chat appears within seconds of going live from Streezy, and waits for your next stream when one ends.
- The chat connection cards now say what is happening (for example "Not live on YouTube right now") instead of just
"waiting". Twitch and Kick also accept full links. - Picking a look in setup and on the Overlays page now shows a picture of each look.
- Folder paths on screen no longer show your Windows username.
