i realized that if you were to print the two gear axles needed for the pedal to connect with the potentiometer properly, they wouldn't fit into the pedal base due to the gear being larger than the hole it needed to go into. this was solved by splitting the part into two individual pieces, and adding a central connector to allow for them to be glued together again.
please note that these are the only two pieces that are not properly oriented for you in their current state, and will have to be turned to be printed properly in your slicer.
