✨ New — Design Systems

• 34 ready design languages — editorial, bento, glassmorphism, brutalism, mission-control, trading-terminal, neumorphism, material and more, each with its own written spec and token contract.
• Not a mood board — a contract. Attach a system and every artifact must paste its :root block and reference everything through var(--name): no invented tokens, no stray hex.
• A live specimen, not a screenshot. See the system rendered as itself — type scale, palette, buttons, surfaces, spacing — before you commit to it. Preview is generated from tokens.css, so it can never drift.
• Make it yours. Ask an agent to create, refine or retire a design system and it lands in .codey/design-systems/, editable and portable. Packages copied from OpenDesign drop in without conversion.

🌐 New — Browser

• Smoothness rebuilt. The frame stream now trades JPEG quality before it ever touches resolution (92 → 68 at full res, then pixels), decodes off the main thread in a worker pool, and drops superseded frames before painting. Retina panels stay sharp on calm pages; heavy animation stops janking the panel.
• Preview what you build, where you built it. Open your project's own HTML and SVG from disk with fit-to-panel, zoom, inspect and region selection intact — confined to your workspace and never reachable from the AI tool or the web app.
• Bounded startup and real progress instead of a silent wait, with human input now on its own path separate from AI-driven actions.
• Pro-gated viewer telemetry feeds decode cost and fps back into the quality ladder.

🔌 New — Every Codey tool, inside your CLI agent

Claude Code, Codex and the rest of your local agent CLIs can now call browser, blueprint, design systems, web search, skills and your MCP servers through one turn-scoped bridge.

• It runs Codey's real tools through the real permission pipeline — CLI sessions render identically to native ones.
• Tier gating is re-checked on every call, so a mid-turn downgrade cannot keep driving a Pro tool.
• The bridge credential is turn-scoped and never placed in argv, the prompt, or a project file.

🇸🇦 Complete Arabic & RTL

Codey now mirrors properly end to end — titlebar, side panel, tab strip, settings, sliders, segmented toggles, switches, menus and tooltips all follow right-to-left, with directional icons and layout glyphs that show the side they actually control. Every string is translated across all 15 languages.

🎨 Colors that stay put

• Versioned theme engine prunes stale cached palettes on boot.
• The native window background now matches the app — no dark edge flashing on resize or restore.
• Custom and runtime theme styles survive in the packaged app.

⚡ Performance

• Long sessions render lighter: collapsed steps release their content, scroll tracking no longer forces layout, hidden terminal output queues, and only visible file tabs are polled.
• A calmer prompt dock: context usage is now a quiet gauge instead of a button, and the thinking-effort slider and Act/Plan toggle behave at every width and in both directions.

🖼 New app icons

One layered source now drives macOS appearance — the Dock icon follows your system's Default, Dark, Tinted and Clear styles instead of shipping a separate dark copy.

🛠 Fixed

• Prompt improvement no longer returns reasoning tags, BOMs, stray code fences or broken @-mentions, and times out cleanly instead of hanging.
• Free-tier models are grouped correctly across Desktop and TUI (zero-cost CLI models are no longer mislabelled).
• Transient capacity errors retry instead of failing the turn; tool-result matching is keyed by call ID.
• TUI event stream hardened with retry/backoff; session permission shapes and assistant-part grouping corrected.
• Sorting across sessions, sync and tasks now uses a stable binary comparison, fixing order breaks caused by locale collation.

• Self-contained tasks — each task carries a full prompt with its own goal,
  files, and definition of done. Run it as its own session, prompt already loaded.
• Saved & ordered better — the board persists per project, survives
  restarts, and rearranges with a simple drag.
• Live progress — tasks move to In Progress, Blocked, Done, or Failed on
  their own as their sessions work.
• Edits follow the session — rename or refine a task and its bound session
  keeps up: new name, new prompt on next open.
• Record on request — agents save a discussed plan to the board, only after
