[0.2.2] – 2025-10-03

🛠 Fixes & Improvements

  • Changed the am/pm format output to use Persian characters (ب.‌ظ, ق.‌ظ) instead of English am / pm.
  • Adjusted and corrected the expected values in the testDateArithmetic unit test so that the arithmetic tests now pass with the correct logic.
  • Introduced two new extension functions on PersianDateTime:
    • toInstant()
    • toEpochMilliseconds()
  • Bumped the internal library version to 0.2.2.

⚠️ Notes / Migration Tips

  • The am/pm representation has changed. Any client code or formatting logic that expected am/pm strings will need updating.
  • New functionality (toInstant(), toEpochMilliseconds()) may be useful for integrations, but users should verify time-zone and epoch semantics when bridging to Java/Kotlin time APIs.
  • The corrected date arithmetic tests may reveal failing logic in client code that had previously conformed to the old (incorrect) behavior.
