Fixes
Fixed a launch crash on older iOS runtimes when built with Xcode 27. Explicitly constructing TupleView in the legacy blur-background fallback prevents unavailable TupleContent metadata from entering the container's view type. (#22)
Preserved the existing gray warning background and its content on iOS 14, macOS 11, and tvOS 14.
Verification
Existing XCTest suite: 94 tests passed with no failures (swift test -q); the Swift Testing runner also reported 3 passing tests.
Independently reproduced the original launch crash on an iOS 18.5 simulator using Xcode 27.0 (27A266a). The patched host reached its rendering callback and remained running.
Confirmed that the patched iOS 15-target executable has no undefined TupleContent references.
Confirmed that the modified background code compiles for an iOS 14 target. Legacy-runtime rendering, other platforms, and physical devices were not runtime-tested in this verification.
Thanks
Thanks to @JoshHrach for reporting the Xcode 27 / older-iOS launch crash, diagnosing the unavailable TupleContent reference, and proposing the initial fix in #21.
Thanks to @gewill for the compatibility-preserving fix in #22 and the accompanying integration validation.
