✨ New Features
Root Check Override
- Added
FDMM_OVERRIDE_ROOTenvironment variable to allow running as root when necessary - Useful for containerized environments and custom build systems
- Shows warning when override is active for safety awareness
Example:
FDMM_OVERRIDE_ROOT=true bash install.sh🔧 Improvements
- Enhanced root check with informative override instructions
- Better user feedback when running in privileged mode
📝 Notes
- Use FDMM_OVERRIDE_ROOT=true with caution - only enable when absolutely necessary
- The installer will display a warning when running as root with override enabled
