2.10.0 — 2026-08-21
Ships alongside parley-deck-cli 1.46.0 and the protocol-and-skill-audit idea it closes.
Fixed — status no longer misdirects a source deck
kimi-1/F4. Nothing in the package read protocolRole, so on a deck whose role is source — the
one place where the packaged protocol copy is by definition the older one
(COOPERATION.md:839-840) — status recommended "Review the local COOPERATION.md changes before
adopting packaged protocol updates." Following that advice there means treating an older snapshot
as an update to the newer live protocol.
inspectProject now resolves protocolRole, and recommendedActions branches on it. A source
deck is told the difference is expected and not to adopt. Consumer advice is unchanged, and a
deck with no recorded role keeps the conservative wording rather than guessing which side is
upstream — the tool does not know, and a confident wrong answer is the defect being fixed.
Protocol snapshot
skills/parley-deck/references/COOPERATION.md carries the audit's protocol-text corrections: §2
documents all three roster-authority states, §12.12's dangling slug is fixed, the Quickstart names
§15 and §10, §3's layout includes agents.toml and runs/, and §11.B no longer contradicts its own
branch-protection advice.
